If I could give zero stars I would. We ordered two medium hot caramel macchiatos with oatmilk and a croissant. We watched as our drinks were made improperly as were handed small cups that were LATTES. We mentioned to the working team that we ordered Medium cups and that we were watching and it was made improperly. I asked for them to be completely remade. I'm a chef of 20+ years and my mom is an exbarista.
She turned around and poured them into bigger cups and was just ready to steam more milk. The gentleman who rang up our order came back from fraternizing with the business next door and we told him what happened. He asked them to remake them. While being remade she turned to ask me how she should make it and I told her "just make it how you make it" I'm not ordering coffee at the airport because I want to teach people, I'm here to drink the coffee.
We were handed our medium cups, which I opened to check because I could not bare to watch her remake them, was as only 3/4 full just the same as when she poured the small cup portion cup. Read moreWorst customer service in my life! Today (28 April 2024) I wentj to buy a capucino at Peet’s coffee at the airport at 3.20 pm. The coffee was cold but I had my iPad open and my luggages and didn’t want to leave everything to come and change the coffee. I tried to drink it but then I couldn’t. So I picked up all my stuffs and went to ask them to heat it. The First Lady who served me was nice and served me well again.
But while she is redoing the coffee, her supervisor interjected and rudely told me that I should have come within ten minutes. Obviously I get it, she thought I was trying to get another coffee free when the first one was still full.
So she seems to be the supervisor (she didn’t give me her name but she was wearing a green top). I told her I was trying to be nice and was trying to drink the coffee even if cold. She said this is not allowed because they serve hot coffee. Clearly the first coffee wasn’t hot at all. I have never experienced such a bad service at all. On a trip, dropped by to grab a coffee. The young twenty-something man behind the counter who was wearing sweats and a pair of headphones around his neck was kicked back, leaning on the register, and having a casual conversation with the two other employees who actually seemed busy. He glanced at me, then went back to basically doing nothing. When he did glance over his shoulder again, he didn’t say anything, so I asked if I could order. His response was “yea”…
I ordered a drip coffee, only to find out they were out and had to make some. I have a suggestion…maybe the guy leaning on the counter and doing nothing could actually make more…what a concept!
Needless to say, don’t recommend going here, head on down to Starbucks where they actually work to provide good service.
P.S. if I was the manager, I’d fire that guy on the spot.
