Just moved into the neighborhood and my family really loves pizza so we're looking for our 'go-to' spot and decided to give Angolino delivery a try but unfortunately we had a really bad first impression. My order seemed to be left out for a bit before it was handed over to the driver as when the pizza arrived late, it was unsurprisingly no longer warm. We had to microwave every slice in this relatively expensive order. I then tried calling them several times over a period of 30 minutes and even left my call back asking them to call back but again disappointed that no one responded to my requests. This was a hard experience to swallow and becomes extremely difficult to justify spending that kind of money for late and cold pizza. I do see that the owner responds here so I want to proactively convey at this point an apology statement would not be enough and would convey a low level of effort on the companies behalf. I've read your other reviews where you redirected the blame to the delivery service and then leave it alone which conveys to me that you don't care enough as a business to fix the systemic issue with the delivery service. Here's my constructive criticism, Own your own delivery service/system so you could account for the quality of service provided there that would negatively impact your reputation. You're already charging a delivery fee of $7 dollars on your site yet I don't see the value proposition of it as you don't own the drivers or service to compensate for whatever overhead that calls for in comparison to franchise business like Dominos. My only other criticism is having additional phone lines to enable multiple calls to address customer concerns. Not go directly to voice mail requesting a call back number and message and not following up. To all other future/potential customers I recommend staying away from the delivery service until something changes and I don't mean form doordash to grubhub but something more significant of a change.

I visited the DC area with a few buddies to celebrate the recent inauguration, and the Airbnb we rented was right around the corner from Angolino’s. We were walking home the first night we were there and decided to swing in. Since we are all from the Dayton, OH area, we don’t get the chance to try many pizza by the slice spots. I tried a slice of meat lovers and a slice of margarita and I was hooked. Best pizza I’ve ever had in my 40 years. ZERO FLOP. Perfect crust, great sauce, excellent toppings. We went back twice a day for the next 3 days it was so good. By the second night we got to know the owner a little bit. He is a hard working family man that is very passionate about what he does. Cannot recommend this pizza enough. I even had the Hawaiian pizza, it was amazing as well. This will be the first place I go when I visit the DC area again. I wish there was an Angolino’s a little closer to me!

Best NY slice pizzeria in the NOVA area. Wished I'd found this place sooner! 20" pizza made fresh and executed to perfection. The crust has the perfect chew, the ideal crisp when fresh out of the oven. The vodka pie is incredible, I'd call it an incredible stepped up margarita and if you add sausage it's even better. Not fussy, seating feels like a proper slice joint. Grab, eat and go. But it is a pizzeria that nails its job, PIZZA. Get the pizza and eat it in the car (at least the first slice), or take it and finish at home. Forget Wiseguys or We The Pizza, or any other places. This best little pizza place needs to be known far and wide as the king of the slice and even more so for itsfresh whole pies. Angolino Pizza...hands down...deserves to be higher rated than 4.5. Pizza done right.

Angolino Pizza, situated in Arlington, Virginia, offers a pizza experience that left me generally satisfied, albeit with a few notable considerations. The restaurant manages to impress with its flavorful pizzas, but a rise in prices and cleanliness concerns make for a nuanced dining experience.

Starting on a positive note, the star of the show at Angolino Pizza is undeniably the pizza itself. The menu features a variety of creative and traditional options, each boasting a combination of quality ingredients and well-balanced flavors. The crust strikes a satisfying balance between crispy and chewy, and the toppings contribute to a tasty and satisfying bite. For pizza enthusiasts, Angolino Pizza provides a commendable option in the Arlington dining scene.

However, it's important to address the pricing aspect. While the quality of the pizza is evident, there has been a noticeable increase in prices. This shift may impact the overall value proposition for some patrons, especially those who have frequented the establishment over time. Striking a balance between maintaining quality and keeping prices accessible is crucial to ensure continued customer satisfaction.

Cleanliness is another aspect that merits attention at Angolino Pizza. While the focus is understandably on the culinary experience, the overall impression of the restaurant is influenced by the cleanliness of the dining area and facilities. Addressing any cleanliness concerns, be it in the dining space or restrooms, is vital to enhancing the overall dining experience and maintaining a positive reputation.

In conclusion, Angolino Pizza in Arlington, VA, stands out for its flavorful pizza offerings that cater to diverse tastes. The rise in prices, while reflecting the evolving landscape of the restaurant, is a consideration for returning patrons. Additionally, prioritizing cleanliness throughout the establishment will contribute to an environment that aligns with the quality of the culinary offerings. With a mindful approach to pricing and a commitment to maintaining a clean and inviting space, Angolino Pizza has the potential to remain a favorite among local pizza...

Angolino Pizza: A Hidden Gem in Arlington – Where Every Slice is Perfection!

Wow! If you’re looking for the best pizza in Arlington, look no further than Angolino Pizza. From the moment we stepped in, we were treated like family by the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Every slice here is a masterpiece—crispy, fresh, and bursting with flavor.

We tried a variety of pizzas: Meat Lovers, Margarita, Cheese, Pepperoni... and every single one was an absolute delight. The crust is perfectly charred, the cheese is gooey and rich, and the toppings are always fresh and generous. Whether you're into the classic cheese or love a loaded, savory Meat Lovers pie, Angolino delivers it all with gusto.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, just like the family-run business behind it. It's clear that they put their heart and soul into every pizza they make. It’s not just about serving food—it’s about creating an experience that brings people together, and that’s exactly what they’ve done for us tonight.

As a family of eight, we couldn't have asked for a better spot to enjoy a great meal. We’re grateful to the staff for making this evening so memorable. If you're in Arlington, don't miss the chance to try Angolino Pizza. It's more than just a meal—it’s an experience that will leave you craving your next slice.

A huge thank you to the wonderful team here. You’ve earned yourselves...
