You would assume they literally make each item from scratch once you place your order, AND IT takes the entire staff on duty at the time. Because speed, efficiency and politeness are foreign concepts to this particular Arby's location. I pull in to order 2 fries, with 2 vehicles in front of me and the parking lot empty. It took literally 15 MINUTES just to get to the window! Every single time. I pull up to the window, the kid has his back to the window, he's on his cell phone, and my fries are sitting in a bag in front of him on the counter. I had to beep my horn to get him to let me pay and hand me my fries. Because I waited so long for the fries, I asked if they were at least hot. The manager stepped in and said, "Yes, just took them out of the fryer." What she didn't say was "before they were actually finished cooking." Warm on the outside, ice cold on the inside.
I will say this, the food is usually pretty good, although this time was a different story. Which is why I gave 3 stars on the food. Consistency is important.
Definitely not going back. Such a shame because I live less than 2 miles away. Will make the extra drive to go to the one on Midlo instead from now on. This visit was during regular business hours, not rush hour and not near closing. And even worse, its not the first or only time this has happened, which is why I decided to finally leave a review. This long long wait time, with no one in restaurant and only one or two cars in drive-thru is a standard for this location. It's truly inexcusable. Had our order taken by a very rude tall black teenager. WE found our seats and when the food came the person bringing them was also very rude. our milkshakes had not come with the meal. the teenager who brought the drinks roughlyt put them on the table and said here is your drinks. we ordered the bacon beef cheddar for 2 for $6 a large onion ring and two milkshakes. the sandwich were so salty I really could not enjoy it and didn't eat it all. I took it home to my dogs. same with my wife. the onion rings, a large order only had 6 rings to the order and was burnt. As we ate another black teenager came out and began filling condiments. As he did he was slamming the box of condiments on the table THAT he was working at and stared at us in a most unpleasant manner. This is the second Arby's we have been to that the Blacks treated whites with such hatred and disrespect. It was a pretty simple fix: We had ordered a meal and they just rang in the sandwich. Void the previous card swipe and re-ring it. Simple. We are happy to pay for the food we ordered. Instead it took three team members to understand the problem, including the shift manager. She gave us a ton of attitude, like the mistake was our fault, then obviously frustrated told the drive thru attendant "Just give them a free small fry and drink." Then she turned to us and very grumpily explained how she was doing us a favor and was going to "let us have them for free this time." Like we were plotting to swindle them out of a small fry or something!! I worked in customer service for 11 years, including food service.
