I am not sure how long Khalila has worked there but she is definitely an asset! She greeted me with a warm hello and a friendly smile that she wore throughout my entire visit. When I arrived at 8:30 this Sunday morning there was one cook who was also friendly however it is clear he needs to be re trained on brand loyalty. Example: if you do not understand why one piece of cheese is provided when hashbrowns are ordered as โcoveredโ donโt tell a customer! I could have agreed then become irritated that I had to pay for the second slice. A second cook came on-shift before I left at 9:15 and that one should be promoted! He was talking to one of his peers about how he did not close a store when he was the only one there and how he would not because he can run it solo! Not an ideal situation but he is really a go getter! It is clear that he likes his job! The other waiter was pleasant enough but just what you would expect from a Waffle House employee. Kahlila and that second cook are the reason for this review and the 4 stars, if it werenโt for the first cook it would have been 5. ย ย ย Read moreI give this rating because of the manager. One of the role as manager is to make a customer feel welcomed, but this lady was not doing her job at all. Besides giving orders to the stuff in a impolite way. I was sitting waiting for my food to go in the little table next to the fridge and because I needed some battery in my phone, I plugged my charger to the wall. After receiving my food, I had to wait for my phone to charge a little more. Then she came and asked me to unplugged and I asked why and she came with a ridiculous excuse saying that waffle house is not a public space and something else that it is not their property whatever I could not even understand her at all (keep in mind that literally at that time there were just me and one other customer). It seemed she just wanted to have some drama (thankfully I am not the type of person who follow the attitude of negative persons) so I stayed a little longer and then she came again saying that she will not repeat it again like threaded at me. Later in the week we tried the one on midlothian across the street from wawa, the cook was good but the server was lousy, we had to ask for condiments repeatedly, then we ask the cook for them, the server was entertaining a group of guys which I didn't see pay for their meals, when they finished their meals the cook and server left to go out into the parking lot with them, leaving us in the restaurant alone approx 30 minutes, the phone was constantly ringing, the server came in at the end of our meal to collect the money, So we tried the W.
