We stopped here on a Saturday afternoon. There was plenty of seating. The vibe was really cool! We ordered our food and got drinks. My wife was about to choose from a couple non alcoholic beers, which is nice. They have a lot of beers on tap and we saw people trying flights to beers. My wife’s beer sprayed quite a bit and made a mess. We wiped the table and floor. The manager (?) came over and swiffered the floor clean. He got my another beer. We started with the Buffalo Cauliflower. I ordered a chicken sandwich and my wife ordered a Hawaiin burger The cauliflower was fried really well and maintained the texture of the cauliflower. This was really nice! The food came out pretty quickly. The tater tots were well fried. My wife’s hamburger was really good (according to her). Here was the issue, and why I give the food such a low score. I got about halfway into my chicken sandwich and took a bite and realized something was off. It was raw in the middle. This is inexcusable in my book. The manager said the fry cook should have measured the temp, ok but he clearly didn’t .You prepay for your food so the manager(?) could not refund the money for the sandwich. He told the cook to make another one and gave us a couple free cookies. Thankfully I didn’t get sick from eating raw chicken. So my suggestion, stick with the burger. I hate leaving not great reviews but this is really disappointing. The manager did everything right in terms of trying to offset the issues. I doubt we will go here again ( because we were in town for a CNU game). If you like beer give this...

I visited Beervana with my parents, and while none of us are big beer drinkers, this place felt different in the best way. The staff was incredibly welcoming, taking the time to explain how everything worked and setting us up with cards to get our drinks. I also had two of my kids with me, and I always get a little nervous about how family-friendly places like this will be—but Beervana was fantastic. The staff was kind, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. My parents really enjoyed trying the local beers, and their favorite was the blueberry lemonade beer.

The main highlight for us was the food, and I was happy to see they have a kids' menu. My son got the chicken nuggets and fries, which he really liked, and my daughter ordered the grilled PB&J—she absolutely loved it!

For the adults, my dad went for the jalapeño popper burger, which he thought was delicious. It had a nice spicy kick, which he enjoyed. My mom had the classic grilled cheese and said it was good. I tried the Beervana House Burger, and it was a solid choice—a big, classic burger with great flavor.

Overall, Beervana was a great experience! Friendly staff, good food, and a relaxed atmosphere made it a spot we’d definitely visit again. Even if you’re not a beer drinker, there’s something...

This was an unexpected gem of a restaurant/taphouse! The vibe was really laid back and casual. Tons of board games and seating. It was able to accommodate a larger party of after work get togethers or a one on one meetup. I really enjoyed the selection of beers that were available. The "pay for what you pour" needs to be more popular! Beervana offered different sized glasses to use, that way you could sample or if you found the beer you loved, pour yourself a pint. For the actual hidden gem!! The burgers! The cook knocked it out of the park. Stuffed burgers! Cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful. With a wide variety of what to pick, how could you not find something you like. Let's not forget how friendly all the staff were. They did an excellent job explaining how the pour for yourself works and detailed instructions on what types of beer were offered.

Love this cozy little beer and burger joint! Walking it, it gives you an initial "retro diner" vibe with an open kitchen and brick interior. I imagine post-COVID that the seating area will be a bit more packed in, but there is ample room to move at present. The beer selection truly is great - lots of local options from Hampton Roads, Williamsburg, etc. Stouts, ales, IPAs, even a few wine options for non-beer drinkers! Special shout out for the delicious sweet potatoes tots. Our group all loved their burger choices - everything served hot, fast, and cooked perfectly. My only hope in the future is more customization options for burgers (maybe a Build Your Own?) and condiment choices! Overall can't wait to go back as this place gets more options (both for beer, events, and food)!

Stopped by today for a few beers and a quick bite to eat and overall it was fine. I tried a few different beers which was fun but it is disappointing to have to pay for a sip of beer to simply try it. In addition, as a fan of stouts and darker drafts, they almost always come out super foamy which is incredibly disappointing to pay like $6 for a glass of 70% foam. In any case, they do have a large selection from many different local and more popular brands. The food was fine, I had the nachos which were actually fairly good for the price. In terms of service, there really isn't much because you do everything yourself outside of the cook that was there. I'd consider coming back but probably try to stay away from foamier beers.
