We went frou-frouing to highfalutin Ashburn, Va last night. We started with Wicked for Good in 4D! Wow! what a moving fragrant windy llightening-filled experience! After the movie, we headed to the ever-so-fancy Blue Ridge Grill for a delicious meal. Huge thanks to beautiful Madison, our lovely server, for taking such great care of us. Superb evening! #PurposeInMotion #InclusionMatters #DisabilityRights #LiberatePotential #CommunityWithHeart

We ordered an appetizer, soups and entrees. Spinach artichoke dip was good but the salsa that was served with it was not very appetizing. The lobster bisque soup had a very good seafood flavor, the bisque was creamy but not quite the velvety consistency of others. Lobster pieces in the soup were pretty small which was slightly disappointing, but the bisque was tasty and I ate the entire bowl of it. The Leesburger had a very good BBQ sauce on it, was cooked correctly to order but could have used a little more seasoning in the burger. The fries were the thinner shoestring style fries and were seasoned very well, came out to the table hot, and were over all delicious! The chicken tenders were hand battered in house and were very good! All of the staff was very friendly and courteous, and our waitress did a great job taking care of us. Parking was a slight issue, but being the location of the restaurant, we expected that to be an issue. Over all experience was nice, and we would return, but it wasn't a got to go there restaurant in my opinion.

This was our first time. My husband and I were invited for dinner with friends. We were very impressed. They have outdoor seating as well. We ate inside. They have comfortable booths and tables and chairs. There's a full bar. Our server was Meghan. She was personable and knowledgeable of the menu. They start you off with a basket of warm bread. Three of us started off with Lobster Bisque, and the other person had a house salad. The Bisque was hot and delicious and a nice size salad. For entrees, two of us had the Chicken Picatta with angel hair pasta, one had Crab Cakes with mashed potatoes and cole slaw, and the other one had Ahi Tuna with brussel sprouts. It was filling and delicious. It was a very nice experience and we will visit again when in the area.

Located in the Brambleton town center, blue ridge grill is a sprawling restaurant and bar that always offers some outdoor patio seating for the nice weather. Was here for sunday brunch while the afternoon nfl games were on and the first oddity I noticed is that almost none of the seats had a good view of the tvs unless you sat at the bar. I was moderately interested in following the game that was on but was unable to do so because of the restricted view. Anyway was here for a meal and not football.

The menu seems to cater largely to people with meat based diets, the only brunch offerings I saw on there for non meat eaters were the pancakes and the French toast. Even all the non brunch entrees were almost exclusively meat and/or fish based except for a few salads. We had a few vegetarians in out group, luckily they had a few vegetarian appetizers and upon inquiring we were told they also have beyond burgers (although these were not listed on the menu).

We ended up ordered a few appetizers - bruschetta, spinach and artichoke dip, guac and chips and a couple of the beyond burgers and a chicken sandwich for entrees. The food was largely disappointing. The guac was extremely salty and was served with bland store bought chips as was the spinach dip, although the dip itself was rather good, probably the best part of the meal. Bruschetta was 4 slices of toasted bread arranged around some tomato salsa and a dollop of cream cheese - strange presentation in my opinion. The chicken sandwich was bland and uninspiring. The beyond burgers were decent considering a lack of alternatives for the vegetarians. The staff seemed to be mostly high school kids and service was attentive.

TLDR: Food left a lot to be desired and I doubt I'll be...

In the mood for a burger? We were... and the Blue Ridge Grill was a great place to get one along with a pint of draft beer. I think they are 5 stars because of the fact that the meat had good taste, was prepared to order (medium well) and definitely authentic flavor. BONUS: If you've been here before, you may remember that they used to serve a Mushroom and Swiss Burger option...well they still do! I ordered that and the server let me know that was on the "secret menu." Letting you know in case this is what you're looking for when the itch for a burger comes around. I have to comment on the fries, they are thinner style but not greasy, so very happy about that. However, you can sub the sides and there is a variety of carbs and veggies to choose from. When they get busy, you may have to wave for help, but that wasn't out of the ordinary. The atmosphere was good for conversation at 6pm in the evening, but I've been here before when it's a bit louder. Still, the seating arrangements with booths and outdoor tables makes it feel like the popular neighborhood place for a Burger or a more upscale meal. I recommend the Halibut or Mahi Mahi when available. Cheers!

Edit: I was here on Tuesday night for impromptu date night. Had the Filet and pasta with an awesome Tequila Lime Alfredo or stroganoff sauce!!! It was a Chef Special that is apparently a secret menu item. This and Half Off bottle Wine made this meal phenomenal! I will be asking for that Tequila Lime...

Our family loved our first visit to Blue Ridge Grill! We were there at 5pm on a Sunday night and it was great because there were other people there, but it didn't feel overcrowded or loud (we are a family of introverts, so we appreciated this). The restaurant has a great feeling of having your own space to talk, with the music just loud enough to feel like you can't hear everyone else's conversations.

The service was fantastic! Our server was friendly and attentive and never rushed us.

The food? Wow, it was good!! My husband had one of the specials, and it was a seafood linguini with a lime cream sauce, and he devoured it! He said the seafood was perfectly cooked. My daughter had the NY strip steak with mashed potatoes (I sampled and they were amazingly good, a perfectly executed classic mashed potato) and creamed spinach (you actually only get one side, but we okayed the upcharge and I appreciated that the server let us know). She loved everything! Just a note, she asked for her steak medium well, and it was still plenty pink inside as you would expect at a steak house type restaurant. I had the Brentwood salad with grilled chicken and no croutons from the Gluten Free menu. It was one of the best salads I have ever had!!!!

Seriously, a great restaurant with a decent gluten free menu is hard to find. This place is a gem and we...
