This is a new spot that opened up in the busy Brambleton shopping center, across from Brambleton library. It is on the same side as Ahso, so there is a parking garage available behind the restaurants, timed parking in front, with a short walk, parking in the Harris Teeter area.
The menu is like any other tea spot. There are a variety of drinks to choose from: teas, smoothies, slushies, etc. When you select your drink there is the option to adjust the level of ice and level of sugar; and at an additional cost, you can add toppings and choose your milk. The base drink prices range from $5-$6. There are various pastries to eat with the drinks to ensure sufficient calorie intake! The pastry prices range from $2.99-28.99 ( the higher costs are for multiple macron packages). The prices are in line with its competitors and considering the area, maybe even a little less. Online ordering is available.
I kept it simple and I ordered the coffee milk tea, with oat milk (of course), less ice, 50% sugar and Oreo crumble topping. It was pretty good. Since it was a soft opening, there weren't any croffles available.
I will definitely return eventually to try...
Read moreWe stopped by after a bite in the shopping center. We are huge fans of boba so we love trying new places. They had a nice display of macarons and the drink menu was easy to digest.
Inside is small but spacious enough to hang out and drink your boba. I got the honeydew smoothie with honey boba and the strawberry lychee slush for my son. While I am well aware of the honeydew being a powder, I hadn’t had it in a while so I was happy with it. As for the slush, it was way too sweet. We didn’t finish it and even with adding more water, it was sugar overload!
We got have a dozen macarons. These are a bit different as it has a lot more filling than normal ones. These are macarons on steroids. We tried the pistachio, birthday cake, lavender creme, earl gray tea. They were pretty solid!
I’ll give this place another try soon. I would for now...
Read moreWe were really excited to try this place. We went there today to get a drink ( 3 people). When we walked in, the lady behind the register whom happened to be the owner didn’t even bother to say hi to us. And while we were looking at the menu she was picking leftover food from her teeth with her hand in front of us, which was so disgusting. We waited to see if she would go wash her hands but instead she started helping the person who was making drinks. After seeing that we walked out without getting anything. It just does not make sense to me how some people do not know about basic hygiene especially if you are running a food shop. We will...
