I wana share an experience that I had with this restaurant! I have been eating at this location since it was built. I was eating one evening there a year ago. I told a manager about a employee that upset me. Manager told me basically to bad. I was upset.I stopped going there. I'm dating a girl now that also loves Bob Evans! I use to eat there three time a week. My Dr told me years ago! What do you eat. Your chart says your so healthy with your cholesterol. I told him mostly Bob Evans. He said wow! I will start eating there. We lol. To get back to the point of this. So I took a chance and said maybe new manger there now let's try it. I went there few times in last month. Omg. I'm so happy I listen to god and went back. First day back in a year. We was walking in and was greeted by this lady smiling and so helpful. I was so happy. I didn't see that mean grumpy ole manager. So I sat down . At this time in my life. I just had knee surgery on my leg. She was so helpful. I got to sit n a way that's weird and comfortable as I can. So we order and the waitress is so nice. Place was little different then before. I noticed it min in the door. I own a very well know company in the area. I see these things. Lol. The place is spotless clean! All the employees smiling, happy, friendly and very helpful. So before we left. I asked if place was under New management? She said few new people. I said I can tell! My third time there this week. I'm greeted again by this lady smiling. Saying I'm glad to see u two again ! Her eyes were telling me to say something. I stayed quite and sat down. This beautiful girl starts to wait on us ,smiling I'm like wow. This place is changed. Rite away God just said say something joey. I asked her her name. She said tiffany. I said nice to meet u. She said me too with this well mannered voice. I was blown away. As I'm sitting there waiting on my food. Everyone working hard and looking to happy. I was like . God hit this place hard. No kidding. My girlfriend is completely opposite from me. Shy and scared to speak her mind. So we done eatting and I asked tiffany how long you worked here. Because she was so on her game. I'd hire her in a Heart beat. She said it's my first day! My leg stopped hurting rite then. I was I hear ya. She said it's my first day. But I been with Bob Evans four years. God again told me GO find the manager. I walked over to the corner of store. IV been in business since 1986. I new she was manager! I ask her if she was and with that nice smile answer was yes.my name is Donna ,glad to meet you. I was happy that God helped me talk. I began to tell her how nice and clean the place was. and happy the staff looked. She said thanks. I spent 30 full mins thanking her for a job so well done. While I was sharing my love for Bob Evans that IV loved for years . She almost teared up. Five employees were standing there watching me tell Donna how happy I was for giving in and coming back. The place is still my kitchen away from home. This place always was great on FOOD. Yummy. Just needed some good management. I thanked God as I walked out and told tiffany I loved her. If anyone wants to test my word. Please go to the Bob Evans on south point parkway. Massaponex. Exit 126 off 95. Always had best food in town day or nite. The service there now is over the top! Me and God talks a lot. I'm glad he likes Bob Evans also. You should test us. I also have 1945 friends just on my Company Facebook. That's not even my Church. Read moreI had eaten at this place while I was vacationing. I ordered the Steak Medium-Rare, but I ended up getting it Well-Done. No problem. The manager, Fernando I believe his name was, asked me if everything was ok. I told him that my stake was well done when I wanted it Medium-Rare. He apologized and had it sent back to the Kitchen. Ok, cool. However, I was not prepared to see this guy yelling and berating the cook who cooked my steak. I had a table near the front, so it was very easy for me to hear what was being said. This by no means is any professional way to treat your employees. I honestly thought I was on that TV show "Hell's Kitchen" and the manager was Gordon Ramsey in disguise. Except I was not laughing. I looked around after getting my steak cooked right this time just to watch how this guy was. He would constantly yell and berate the servers who were working there, a lot of time not even necessary. The poor girls who were working with him looked so miserable at his mere presence alone. After finally finishing my meal, I left the biggest tip I could for my server just because I felt so bad she had to deal with someone like that.
I left and I vowed to never eat there again so long as that guy is employed there or at least have some corrective action taken against him. I've used to work in the food industry, and I, as the costumer, felt so bad and uncomfortable there. And it seems a lot of the other customers who've witnessed it agree. I wish I had recorded it, but for now I'm just going to leave a review. Bob Evans is a great place. But if this guy is still managing there, I'm just going to take my business to the one up North of...
Read moreHorrible Service on 4/28/23, this morning. I got there before it seemed like a rush of other customers. I sat and waited after I ordered and decided to play a game on my phone. I did notice that quite a few other customers that came in and ordered there food as well. Well as I casually looked up, they were getting their food before me, one or two tables, I blew it off... but most tables that came in after me started getting their food. Now! I understand there was only one server, however, the concern wasn't that she took too long, it was that, how did these other customers get their food prior to me when I ordered way before they even stepped foot in the restaurant. I kind of threw my hands in the air like, " what's going on?" The only thing the server said to me was, "it's coming, it's coming". Like I was being unreasonable with the timing and with what has been so obvious of what was going on. So, I finally get my food and it was not hot or even a decent temperature to eat. Therefore, it appeared as if my food was just sitting back in the kitchen until the server decided to get it. I'm very disappointed and of course my breakfast was ruined. Unfortunately, I will not return to Bob Evans, because after being treated as if I wasn't important after clearly being there prior to anyone else, I will not patronize a business that could care less about my business or me...
