AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’ve been frequenting Asian Diner for about 8 years, and up until Friday, the food and the service was pretty good. I always ordered the same items: 2 large orders of plain fried rice, and sometimes fried dumplings and/or crispy beef.
On Friday, I ONLY ordered the 2 large orders of plain fried rice which was about $12 for both, but when I called the order in, I had to go back and forth with the person who answered the phone who was EXTREMELY rude about the plain fried rice. He was charging me $24.19, so I was confused. I told him he must’ve pressed the wrong thing because I always get the same 3 things. So after about 7 minutes or so, he said okay, okay, just this one time, I’ll only charge you, the $12 for both. I said okay, thank you. It was beautiful inside and I extended a compliment about it. But he was rude, sucking his teeth, rolling his eyes and talking very abruptly to me and in his native language to the other guys towards the back and they kept looking at me with sour faces, which I didn’t appreciate, nor did I earn. When he came back towards the front, I asked him again for full clarification about our miscommunication, and FINALLY, he said, new owner. I said, ohhhhhhhhh, okay. That explains everything. Come to find out, they’ve doubled the prices for the appetizers, and some of the other items, which is why it was supposed to be $24.19.
When I got the food home, the containers were only partially full and it was only rice, fish sauce and soy sauce. WTH? Really dude? It should’ve had green onions, shallots, and a couple other small items, but it wasn’t. I’m still mad about the service, and even madder about the lack of food quality. However, I can show you better than I can tell you. I will no longer be a customer of Asian Diner, which equates to losing 3 customers in total because of this transaction. Poor customer service, quality, and...
Read moreWe came here to have a nice experience. Restaurant has a new owner. He is terrible! First he is rude to my grand daughter, he doesn't understand his own menu, because I ask him and he says everything has sauce on it. No it doesn't! My grand daughter just wanted food without sauce. So I order and guess what, a dinner with no sauce! My grand daughter is crying at this time so any chance of a nice evening is gone. We get the food to go. We go to leave and my grand daughter slips and falls, hurting herself in their lobby because no one cared to mop up the wet floor from outside rain! She hurt her ribs, back and tailbone and no one came to see if she was alright except me!!!! Soo upset. We will never recommend this place under this new owner. The old owners were wonderful. Not this guy. Horrible experience. Now my grand daughter is blaiming herself for everything because she believes bad things happen to autistic people and no one accepts her because of it. Her self esteem was already very low and now this. What do you tell a child that is treated like this? All the sauces that I had were watered down. Signs of retraunt trying to save on money. When food was boxed up, we were shorted a rice. We paid over $50s for 2...
Read moreSave yourself and just DONT… I don’t even know where to start. For starters we got miso soup which was the best thing we got, very hard to mess that up. Seafood soup tasted like dirty dish water. Crab Rangoon had no crab in them, over fried and only filled with cream cheese and red onion. Crab ravioli with chili sauce was mediocre, not spicy and not very hot temperature wise. For meals we got medium spice chicken pad Thai and a no spice chicken pad Thai both of which had very little flavor, no spice whatsoever and tasted like they just poured sugar water on it before serving it to us and the noodles were under cooked. Pad Thai is our favorite Thai meal and this place by far was the worst we have ever had. When I brought this to the managers attention he asked me “ What’s the problem” I replied “The pad Thai was way to sweet..” he proceeded to cut me off to tell me “ have you ever had it before, it’s meant to be sweet” I started to tell him yes many times and places when he cut me off and told me “no need to explain” and then walked off. This place is by far the worst restaurant and management I have ever...
