Not every visit is going to be 5 stars and our visit on 3/5/22 wasn't 5 stars. What's unfortunate is, yesterday's visit is becoming our norm at Bdubs and not the exception. Basically, the service was poor, the wings were very good and the fries were cold. The waiter said he'd bring more fries but never did. We didn't see him again until the end of our meal when were were finally able to ask for drink refills. The only thing done quickly in the visit was how quickly the check was brought.
More detail: We arrived off peak with a party of 3 around 5p. About 1/2 that tables were empty. It took about 10 mins for our waiter to greet us and let us know he'd be with us shortly. About 10-15 mins later he came back. We'd waited so long we were ready to provide our full order instead of just drinks. We'd planned to start with an order of onion rings, but was told, "We're out. Someone has run out to get some, but they're not back". That was disappointing, but it happens. We ordered drinks and everyone ordered wings plus a large basket of fries to share. The drinks came reasonability quick, but our meal took almost 30 mins. during which time our waiter never checked in with us. Our waiter was the person who brought our food. When he put the fries on the table, he said "That portion looks small. I'll bring out a half portion for you.", he never did, nor did he check back to see how the meal was because the fries were cold, like they'd been sitting out for 20 mins and we would have requested fresh ones. We ended up eating them because we had no choice. The celery was brown on the ends and the carrots were dried out. What was good you ask? Our wings were delicious, hot and well coated in the flavorings we'd requested. I did regret ordering a spicier flavoring because we never got a chance to request a refill on our drinks. Finally, when we'd finished eating, we finally got refills. You may be asking why didn't we speak up? Honestly, every waitress that did walk past our table seemed angry, I mean not one smiled or made eye contact with any table that wasn't theirs and we never saw a manager. As for tip, we did tip 20% on the pre-tax amount. Anyone can have a bad day and I know, from personal experience, the tip is the server salary as opposed to what is should be which is a rewards for quality service. Will we be back? Read moreI came in to enjoy a meal with my family. Order came out wife and son recieved there's. Daughter's order did not come out. Mine came out totally wrong no big deal it happens. Different server asked me twice "are you sure you did not order this", I responded both times that I didn't. She than comes out with the order receipt points to it and asks me again "are you sure you didn't order it". Again I say no I didn't and I pointed out that my daughter's order is not on that receipt as well. She than asks "if the order that was wrong was hers". We answered no again. She than asks "what did you order". I tell her my order and my daughter's. Over 30 minutes go by and still no food. Original server comes by and says "order was ready I'm going to get it". 15 more minutes go by he is bringing food and drinks to other tables. I asked him to come over, he said "I was just coming over to tell you that they told him it was ready and that it wasn't ". I told him to cancel my order and that I want to speak to a manager. He cameback, he said "manager is busy and told him to get front manager to handle it he went to her he stated that she was busy at the bar and that she couldn't help". So I told him to tell them I didn't come her so my daughter and I could watch my wife and son eat. So tell either manager you need to comp there food and that we will be leaving. Ha said "they won't comp". I explained to him that was not his decision to make. All of a sudden less than 5 minutes front manager comes, she asked "what was the problem ". She heard me out, and I told her what I wanted. She said "let me see what I can do. About 5 minutes after that back manager I assume comes out, apologies and says "she can not comp $100.00 if food. I told her where is $100.00 dollars of food. She said she will bring receipt it was $31.70 I believe. She said she took off my food and my daughters food that we never received. I told her you can't comp food that I didn't get. She said we maid it. I say I need to speak to a general manager Misty Gibson. She Said that was store number, I asked for direct number or franchise number she said "if you just want your food comped there will be no need to call, you can just leave " I said if you say we are good? She said " No, I am not comping, you can leave and don't come back!" I will not say how that maid me and my family feel. Read moreOh wow where to begin. The service can take 2 minutes or 20 to get to you, there is no standard. The past 3 times I’ve been have been ludicrous.
Friends ordered fries, carrots and celery which should take maybe 8 minutes? 15 if the cook is busy. After 40 minutes we asked where it was and the bartender just looked at us, then brought it out in 3 minutes. Meanwhile 2 other members of the party ordered boneless wings which were also on 40 minutes. BONELESS WINGS. This is Buffalo Wild Wings right?
The next trip I decide to try and get some wings and hope it doesn’t take forever. I got a small size that not only took 45 minutes but they brought me the snack size which I brought to the bartenders attention, she brought out hot ready small size wings in 6 minutes. So why did my first order take 45 and was incorrect. They were not busy at the time with maybe 10 tables in the whole place sat.
This last and what will be my final time here, I ordered wings ready to wait. I just wanted to watch football and drink beer. Upon my wings arriving I was brought no napkins, silverware, wetnaps, nobody checked on if I needed anything. I found a hair in my ranch which I proceeded to push to the front of the bar as I sat back and watched the bartenders have conversation. 10 minutes go by and I have to flag one down as they still haven’t said hi to me or brought me a napkin. For wings. I show him the hair and he just walked away. Didn’t apologize or get any sort of manager involved. He just took it away. 8 minutes maybe 10 more go by and I’m just waiting for napkins still. It’s been at least 30 minutes of having my food at this point. Thank god the game was good. I finally had the opportunity to ask for a manager and was told they couldn’t be found. LMAO. Okay. Look down at my wings and there is a piece of plastic, like from a portion bag or the bag the wings are delivered in, kindly tossed around in the sauce. IM OVER IT. The manager comes 4 minutes later I immediately say I want corporates number and he proceeds to give me the GM. She can’t help me because clearly she can’t run a restaurant and this location needs help.
