Eggs Up Grill — Restaurant in Virginia

Entry area is cramped and confusing as someone else mentioned, since there's not a specific check-in stand or queue. However, the decor and atmosphere was pleasant and it kind of has a diner vibe, so we had high hopes upon being seated.

The menu looked promising but it literally took 30+ minutes after being seated before we got checked on by anyone. They seemed short staffed and I know the place just opened recently so I can cut them some slack, but was questioning my decision to come here since my kids kept asking when the food was coming and saying they were hungry. I also noticed many open tables yet a crowd of people waiting to be seated. I assume that maybe because they were short staffed they weren't seating all the tables. It seemed like there was some confusion over who our server actually was supposed to be, but waiting 30 minutes to even put in a drink order is problematic. Once someone did come over though, she was very nice. After placing the order it didn't take that long to get our food (maybe 10-15 minutes).

The food itself was tasty and reasonably priced. Nothing out of this world, but good standard breakfast food. I would give it another shot but maybe after a few weeks, hoping they work out some of the...

Customer Service was an epic FAIL! I ordered food online through the website and it was delivered by DoorDash. I ordered two breakfast meals and a side of bacon and a separate waffle. When my order was delivered the side of bacon was placed.on top of the waffle. One would think that each item would.have their own separate containers. WRONG! I don't eat pork I called the store and stated the issue with Hunter who identified himself.as the GM. Well after speaking with him on two different occasions, I was told to call DoorDash because my order payment history wasn't showing up on their system. Even though I made the order and paid through the store website. Well I call DoorDash on three occasions only to be told the opposite and the store has my payment information and would be able to refund my money. Needless to say, I got no one and the store did not rectify the solution.

I wanted to love this place. I was excited that we finally had one near my home. Ordered egg white omelet with veggies and cheese and side of turkey bacon to go. English muffin was put on top of omelet and was soggy because of it, but that wasn't the worst. Omelet was soggy/mushy and I had no bacon. Returned to restaurant. Manager said that it was mushy because it was egg whites and that bacon was probably inside of omelet. I had asked for it on the side, but I had been looking and hadn't seen any bacon anywhere. The positive was that they offered to remake it for me. This time I got regular omelet with less veggies to ensure it wasn't mushy. Unbelievably, it was undercooked again! You could still see the creamy white of the egg that wasn't cooked in the omelet and turkey bacon was not very good. I had an extremely nice waitress, but other than that, very disappointing experience...
