Captain D's — Restaurant in Virginia

Father in law for dinner. Our food arrived at our table warm and tasted ok for fast food fish. They don't give you enough tarter sauce and you have to pay for even one extra... AND THEY WERE OUT OF KETCHUP! Who allows themselves to run out of ketchup???!!! My father in law used a walker so we parked right out front and it was easy to get in the door and they're was seating close by. There were only 2 things I didn't like about my visit. The drink machine in the lobby was out of sweet tea and lemonade so when we wanted a refill I had to go to the front counter and wait to ask for refills while my food sat getting cold.... and it was cold when I got back. The restaurant was cold and I had to wear a jacket inside. The other item was that I went to check on when our food would be ready because it was taking a good while and we were ready to eat and get home. I saw our meals sitting on the food bin, counter, ready to go. I offered to take them and was told that I couldn't have them because she had to bring them out to us. So I had to sit and wait another almost 7 min for it food because they were taking orders in drive through and at the counter. It just bothered me. I could have had hot food instead of warm food had she given it to me. Seems taking someone hot food should be more important than taking an order. It would have taken 2 min. To bring me my food! Instead of the 7 min they took to order.....

⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM CAPTAIN D’S ON CRATER ROAD PETERSBURG, VA. IT HAS BEEN ALMOST A MONTH SINCE MY FATHER PURCHASED FOOD THERE AND CHEWING GUM WAS IN MY MOTHERS COLESLAW. MY FATHER TOOK THE FOOD BACK WITH THE RECEIPT AND THE MANAGER WAS ON DUTY AND HE WAS VERY RUDE TO MY FATHER. MY FATHER ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER AND THE MANAGER REPLIED I AM THE MANAGER. MY FATHER ASKED THE MANAGER TO STEP TO THE SIDE SO OTHER CUSTOMERS WOULDN’T HEAR. THE MANAGER REPLIED SAY WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY. MY FATHER DIDN’T WANT TO SPEAK IN THE FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS. SO, MY FATHER STATED THERE IS CHEWING GUM IN MY WIVES COLESLAW AND THE MANAGER YELL “IT DIDN’T COME FROM HERE.” MY FATHER SAID “YES, IT DID SIR” AND THE MANAGER REPLIED “NO, IT DIDN’T.” MY FATHER TRIED TO SHOW HIM THE RECEIPT HOWEVER, THE MANAGER INSISTED THAT THE GUM DIDN’T COME FROM THERE CAPTAIN D’s. MY FATHER DIDN’T ARGUE BACK HE JUST SAID OKAY AND LEFT. ⛔️⛔️⛔️

I CALLED CORPORATE AND MADE A DETAILED COMPLAINT! NO ONE HAS CALLED! NO ONE HAS EMAILED! NO ONE HAS ISSUED MY FATHER A REFUND. NO ONE HAS APOLOGIZED.

I received nothing I ordered. They confirmed my order when bringing it to me via a copy of the receipt. The lady asked if I had funnel cake fries and I said no. She said,”ok it’s not on the receipt”. She read off the receipt and I confirmed yes it was my order but what I was given was completely wrong. I didn’t receive a single item I ordered. Called to speak with them and got a call back quickly saying I need to drive back, bring the food I was given and get the correct order. Considering I live about 40min away and was passing through after work I shouldn’t have to drive back today, return food I’ve already opened then drive all the way back home. Never...
