I went to this location, the girl took my order in the parking lot. I noticed she did not take my name. They asked for my name at the window. I explained she never asked me for my name. The girls inside were playing and throwing things at each other. That is very unprofessional! I can expect that at lower fast food place but not at CFA. The cashier dropped some coins on the ground for my change. They kept laughing and she leaned over my food two times, bag opened trying to find the change. Hello, we are in a pandemic I don't want her clothes touching anything of mine. I took the survey, and complained to customer service. They also with all their playing did not give me my drink. Once we were back in the house, we were not leaving back out. So I had to have my meal minus my drink with my combo.
I will admit I'm impressed by how they solved the issue right away. They seemed to take my comments about my experience very seriously. They sent me an email right away saying sorry. It included two coupons. Then the manager called me twice. He was nice, he apologized, and said those employees were talked to. He gave me my money back, and the same meal again. My receipt said red flag. Lol I guess to say I complained and get it right this time?? 🤭 I had my combo, a free chicken sandwich for the survey, free dessert, and a free drink. Everything cost around $16.00÷ and it was all FREE, plus my money back. So we appreciate how they rectified the situation.
Normally we go here with no issues. Everyone is nice and friendly. They have a clean place and a nice safe location. They did fine that day, and we hope if we return to get...
Read moreWent to the restaurant after the lunch crowd had started to wane. The Chick-fil-A restaurants can extremely busy during lunch and dinner times so expect some wait. The restaurants have been very good at taking orders and payment before patrons get to the drive-through ordering board. That said you need to know what you want to order before you get into the line to keep the line moving. If you are one has not been to this restaurant I would use there app to order and get curb-size service. I normally order either the Chick-fil-A deluxe or the spicy deluxe meal. The deluxe sandwiches include a slice of tomato and a leave of romain lettuce. Neither sandwiches have ever disappointed. The meals come with waffle fries and a regular drink. Just be aware that you have a choice of cheeses but the person taking your order may not ask you your choice. As a warning, the spicy sandwich defaults to pepper jack cheese. I do not get the chicken grilled as I am fond of the seasonings and I could not eat the grilled chicken club as the combination of bacon and the grilled seasonings was very unsavory to me. Again that is a personal thing but be aware that the grilled chicken...
Read moreMy family and I are CFA junkies. Not only is the food out of this world, the PROCESS is what really sets them apart. This is not only a review of this branch, But the surrounding CFA’s as well. There are 3 other franchises within 3 miles of this one. This is the only one that serves breakfast for some reason that is beyond comprehension.
So everyone in the western Newport News community that is hoping for some breakfast is funneled into this one store. CFA is so good at flexing to traffic and making adjustments to move orders through fast, I’ve often said we need to turn over the DMV to CFA and watch wait times shorten by 300%.
Unfortunately it looks like this franchise must have lost the manual on how to do that. The whole operation is a train wreck. I get the COVID thing is tough, but the CFA up in the Burg has it figured out, I can’t see how these guys shouldn’t be just at locked on. Waited 30 minutes in a drive thru lane that caused all kinds of confusion too.
Just an experience I’d never want to have again. If I’d known, I’d just have bought breakfast in the Burg before...
