On April 19th at 9:45p I experienced an unfortunate encounter with multiple employees during my pick-up of an order at the listed location. The order according to the app was ready for pick-up and I proceeded inside. After noticing that my order wasn't there, I saw the staff running back and forth to try an clean, which I understand due to closing. No one acknowledge or asked if I needed assistance. There were other guest waiting for food as well. Customer services really failed us as after almost 7 mins later they were told where the line was. I was still waiting to be helped but skipped by customer who had came in to order food after I had been there already. I politely explained to the server that my order wasn't prepared and according to the app it was sent here. I am all about patience and professionalism, but it went down hill as I notice the server slapping and handling my food with no care or awareness. I get you're trying to close up for the day, but you chose this job and other people had long days as well, this is no excuse. Making me pay for your mistake an attitude is not the way for the staff to handle their personal problems. She even got the order wrong which was incredible seeing that the items were right on the order sticker.
The second server was extremely rude by letting my food sit as she continued to clean. Other patrons and I watched as these two carried attitudes and made customers wait. After almost 15mins and standing silently for my order she takes a bag throws my food inside and sides and proceeds to throw the food on the counter to walk away. I immediately became angry by this action and demanded a manager. A gentlemen came from the hallway to speak with me. I explained the situation to him and he told me he confronted the workers, but I am not truly convinced this conversation happened or she was receptive to what was said. A slap on the hand for throwing food and carrying that attitude needs Corporate intervention. Maybe the whole staff needs...
Read moreI was leaving the Tyson's Corner area and heading back to Springfield when it suddenly hit me that my stomach was telling me it was way past dinner time. I happened to see this place while driving, and I figured that I would the take a detour to go for a nice steak burrito bowl. This has always been my go-to at this restaurant chain for at least the last five years. I walked in and there was nobody sitting inside of the restaurant. However there were at least 4 employees working behind the counter. I stood there at the counter waiting to place my order, for at least two minutes. Not a single employee even bothered to acknowledge my existence, much less stop the cleaning that they were doing, so that I could order my food. The whole group of them seemed indifferent to their job. Anyway it was 7pm when I walked in and as I was checking out the food I noticed that there were only about six pieces of steak left in the serving pan. Needless to say I decided to pass on the steak! Instead I went for the chicken burrito bowl, and there appeared to be plenty of fresh chicken in the serving pan. The rest of the ingredients like the tomatoes, lettuce, and sour cream seemed ok. I haven't yet taken a bite out of the bowl, and I'm confident that I won't be disappointed. In my experience the taste of the food that I have eaten at this restaurant chain has...
Read moreI stop by on occasion at this location and every time I do, there’s always something wrong. I normally order through the app so that it’s ready by the time I get there and about 80% of the time it never is. I stopped by last Friday night and didn’t order through the app since sometimes going in faster. The guy that served me was very rude - I ordered two burrito bowls with tortillas on the side and he proceeded to put the tortillas on the bowl and I was so confused bc that’s not what I asked him for and I told him that and he tells me that that’s how burrito bowls are made? I’m like “okay, can I get the tortillas on the side then” I then asked him for brown rice for both my bowls and he was literally scraping the bin for rice and asks if that’s enough. I asked if there was anymore and he said no so I had to get white rice for the other bowl which there was barely any of. I then see one of the other employees bring out a to go order with a good serving of rice. So I was like okay, this guy is doing the bare minimum. The servings he gave me were less than usual and everything he was doing was just in such a reluctant demeanor. I honestly didn’t even feel like saying anything bc at that point I just wanted to be home, I had worked a long shift that day and was craving chipotle and all I wanted was...
