Consistency and customer service are NOT their strong suit. There's a big joke in my office about HoneyGrow - it's the surprise lunch option. Because EVERY.SINGLE.TIME someone places an order (and our office places a lot), there is ALWAYS something wrong. It's guaranteed that your order will not be correct in some way shape or form. One time I placed an online order for a stir-fry dish with red coconut curry sauce and selected the option for 'Extra Sauce'...previous times I'd selected extra sauce it had come on the side. And some times it was put on the meal, SOOOOOO just to clarify, I (eventually) got the managers attention to just ask what the expectation is when you select extra sauce...and as I asked him I was pointing to my meal and realized there was NO SAUCE on my stir-fry. So I asked about that and he said they were out of stock....HOW WOULD I HAVE EVER KNOWN HAD I NOT ASKED?!?! I asked if he tried to call the number listed on the receipt to make the person ordering aware...to which he replied "i didn't think those were real phone numbers"....WHAT?!? I was floored (and hungry!) and sauceless...I asked for another vegan sauce instead and he said the curry was the ONLY vegan one. So I pulled up the app on my phone and showed him the 'V' next to the other sauces...THIS WAS THE MANAGER! He gave me a free meal coupon as I was leaving and when I got to my desk and pulled it from my pocket - I SAW IT EXPIRED LAST YEAR. Again - WHAT?!?! I just can't believe they have the rating they do when they can't seem to get it right...I mean, today - my colleague and I ordered a salad, the same salad (I added tofu and took off cheese; she switched cojita for goat cheese) and THEY BOTH WERE NOT RIGHT. She had blue cheese on hers, I didn't get all the correct toppings on mine...it's like...

This was our 3rd time trying HG, and about time a review was necessary. Still trying to understand HG's cuisine style. It seems to be Asian-influenced, but at the same time, the flavors are not well done, at all. I don't like Chinese take out, but at least their sauces make a bit more sense. The pictures are all extremely misleading. I've yet to have a HG meal where all the vegetables in the dish weren't soggy and overcooked. Tonight in particular, we ordered a rice and rice noodle stirfry online for pickup. When we got home, we realized the rice portion was only about 2/3 of the noodles portion. Why would that be? If you order rice as your carb, you get much less? We chose the spicy garlic sauce to try. The sauce was extremely thick and not tasty. In fact, the sauce was more spicy and sweet to be exact. Tasted like watered down korean gochujang. This was inconsistent, the last couple orders we had, the soy based sauce we chose was at a decent level. Lastly, my husband's dish seemed like the store forgot the garnish. We then discovered the garnishes were all buried at the very bottom of the bowl, again we ask why? Definitely took a few tries to find the perfect noodles, sauce, veggie, protein combo! 3rd time is a charm - well worth the effort! A great healthy delivery option amid Covid-19.

As other Yelpers have noted, the dishes are pretty carb heavy loaded with noodles. The ratio of noodles to veggies and protein is quite low and a bit off. The noodles and heavy sauces tend to overpower the dishes as the protein and veggies are skimpy. The hearty oversized portions double over for another meal. I'm not a big fan of the limited stir-fry menu options particularly the vegetarian choices, and glad to craft my own!

The winning combination was zucchini noodles in sesame garlic sauce, tofu, spinach, broccoli, mushrooms. It was bursting with flavor and healthy! The zucchini noodles balanced out the dish and added an extra helping of veggies! The sweet soy sauce is tasty and flavorful as well. True to its name, the spicy garlic sauce has quite a kick - my mouth was on fire! The chewy whole wheat noodles are a bit dense.

Don't miss out on the soft and fluffy focaccia bread, well worth the small upcharge! Delivery on Doordash is great, food came within 1/2...
