They (or shall I say "SHE") probably didn't think I'd leave a review. I lost my receipt but I remembered her name that was on it. 2 days ago, I arrived at this location with 6 hungry children, my wife, and my brother. We were traveling from Detroit, Michigan back home to Portsmouth, VA. We were on the road a VERY long time and stopped to get breakfast. When I walked in, it was clean and the staff DEJA seemed friendly because of how she smiled and interacted with the other people that were in line. I didn't receive the same experience from Deja though.
When she got to me, I had ONE simple question, if I order these waffle fries on this app, would they be made? Before I could finish asking, she was passing me off to the other cashier. Being that she cut me off and didn't even let me ask the question, I reiterated kindly that I just have a question about waffle fries in which she never let me speak or listened and continued to shoe me off, eventually walking away to check other orders (mine wasn't important?). When I got in line I decided that I'd just order my food from inside rather than the app after being informed that I can just scan my chic-fil-a one membership in.
The woman who took my order seemed to be a manager. After our food was served I asked the other cashier which was at the register (black guy but I didn't get his name) for more jelly. At this time, Deja was behind him and seemed irritated that I was back at the counter and began to speak in Spanish to one of the other workers. I ignored it but I knew she was talking about me. I went back to my table just trying to feed my family and get out of there. I'm a quite merciful, forgiving, and loving guy. I'd much rather leave good/great reviews than bad because I understand that some people just have bad days sometimes.
However, here's the dealbreaker for me. I decided that I wanted some fruit as a healthy snack on this 3-4 hour ride that I have left to get back home so I went back to the counter. When I walked up, the guy was occupied filling up orders. However, Deja was turned semi-sideways but as I got closer she turned her body to face away from the counter giving me her back. Ok, fine. I will say, with unbelief that this was the case, that MAYBE just MAAAAYBE she didn't see me, but the problem is this. When I walked up and stood there for a few seconds, the other Hispanic worker that was up front in which she began speaking in Spanish to earlier informed her, EVEN WITH A HEAD POINT DIRECTED AT ME that I was at the register. She stood with her back turned to me, responding to her in Spanish and a small head movement that looked like "no", and did not even bother to turn around and service me. She talked to her with her back turned to me and I recieved zero service until the black guy turned around and saw that I was there and asked her to help me, in which she then turned around with a sarcastic smile and voice saying "Yeeeeeeeeeesssss!". Her smile was so fake! She could barely hold it there smh.
She then took my order and I just smiled at her because I believe in spreading love even in the midst of such ridiculousness. At that point I had it in my mind thou that I'd be leaving a review about her but the topping on the cake was that as my family and I sat down eating, she was looking at us and talking about us, once again in Spanish though. Funny thing is she talked pure English with no problem until she encountered me. I know that she said something about me because I heard her say "blanco pantalones" as she looked our direction and talked with her co-worker. I did have on white pants. I felt SO uncomfortable and I'm not used to such an experience at Chic-Fil-A. I want to express my extreme displeasure about this. The place was clean, the food was good, but I felt forced to eat there by my situation (go find somewhere else to eat after being on the road for 12 hours and having nearly 4 more hours left to go with 6 kids?). Had I been close to home I'd have taken my money elsewhere. I pray this happens to no one else! I need...

Read moreMy experience at this chick-fil-a was terrible. The customer service that I got from the so-called manager, Monica, was so disappointing. She was rude and arrogant. My daughter ordered the food on the app but our order was not ready once I got there. People who came in after me and ordered their food in the store were getting their food but I was still waiting. I asked twice when the food would be ready, and kept waiting. I then asked to speak to the manager and this person Monica came up with the worse attitude. I asked her what is holding up our order and she told me that I placed the order 2 minutes ago and it takes 5 minutes for chicken nuggets to cook. Really, How can this be? I was waiting in the store for 20 minutes, the milkshake that was part of the order was just sitting on the counter melting. On top of that my daughter have a screenshot of the time that she placed the order. Managers are supposed to take charge and try to resolve the situation instead she was giving an attitude to the customer. I told her I can't wait and asked for a refund. As she was walking towards the register to do the refund with the worse attitude, an employee handed her our food. She could have given me the food but instead she slammed it on the counter and did the refund. I hope home office/district manager sees this review and follow up on it. A person with such poor customer service should not be in...
