Went here for my son's birthday breakfast per his request or we would've definitely went else where. The food was fine and our server she was well attentive. At the end was the horrible experience that overshadowed everything else. If I could gove thos a zero I would because rhisbplace ruined my son's morning!
The server tried to split our bill but the machine glitched and cashed it out instead She was remorseful and said she try to speak to the manager. When she came back teary eyed that she told the money would come out her tips unless we could pay by cash?? At this point my husband said nonlethal the manager say that to us and not send you with such a message.
This struck a true legal and unethical issue with me being an accountant and a past server in my college days!! So we spoke to the manager and he denied this being the case. Then said if we paid by cash or on one credit card. So the option to split an $80+ tab by credit card was no longer an option. Then we were asked did we have cash??? Obviously not that if we said CREDIT CARDS!. I doubt the options he left us with were true or what he mentioned to the server because she was almost in tears. Staff should not be treated that way and then you smile in the customers face as if we didn't see or hear the interaction that took place a few steps away and then for said manager to lie straight to our faces.
Once I paid my husband asked for the managers card, he leaves to go get it..but instead a younger guy maybe the shift manager comes back and gives us his card instead (my husband asked who's card it was). What a joke and utter dismissal to our complaint.
Keep driving by this location because they are unethical and deceitful with their business practices and how they treat...
Read moreI’m sad to say that last night was the worst service my husband and I have ever received at any restaurant anywheres. I have never felt the need to speak with a manager but the service was beyond terrible from our young female server. The restaurant was not even busy and it took our waitress 20 mins to even come greet us and ask us for our drink order which by then we already knew what we want so we asked to order as well. After watching our waitress just stand around and talk and slurp on a drink for herself, our drink didn’t come out until we had waited at least another 20 mins for another waiter to walk by and we had to ask him to get them (he was very kind). The coffee was so burnt that not even 6 creamers could make it taste better. My side of broccoli never came out with my meal and the appetizer didn’t come out until after we finished our meals and were ready to just pay and leave (an hour and a half later). We had no napkins or silverware so after waiting for my waitress to come around (which she never did) I had to get up with ketchup all over myself to ask a lady at the counter for some. I would have spoke to our waitress about the issues but she never came out to check on us or anything. The only time she came out was to take the order and drop 1/2 the food off. The table next to us with the same waitress seemed to be having similar issues as well because they were missing lots of there food. As the service was bad I can say that the manager was very kind and did help adjust the bill at the end and apologized. He said he was going to deal with the issue and I will say that the cooks in the back are doing good because the food that we did get...
Read moreI'm downgrading this review pretty severely.
We were in there two days ago, and I ordered the Fried Steak and (don't judge me) decided to compare the Seasoned Fries against the Wavy Cut ones that I love.
The waitress came back out with the manager a bit later and I was informed that they didn't have my steak. The manager "offered" me a sirloin, instead which was the same menu price.
I looked at the menu again, and decided to try to the "Chicken Fried Chicken". When my order came out, I was informed that they didn't have Wavy Cut fries, so they just doubled my Seasoned portion.
The fries were okay, but the Wavy Cut are among my favorites, so it was a serious downgrade. I had two bites of the chicken... it just seemed off... like it was both literally burned and freezer burned.
They took my uneaten meal off the bill and just charged for my Wife's order and drinks. On check out, I found out they didn't know how to process the older AARP cards, so they didn't give me the promised discount.
At no point did anyone go out of their way to try to offset the disaster. The waitress apologized, and explained that they were under new ownership, but that was all. The manager actually called another manager - I guess they decided together that everything was fine, and that our discount wasn't worth worrying about.
I'm lowering my "food" rating to 3 stars since my wife's order was fine, but I'd give them two based on my food.
And this is just my opinion, but the volume of the tinny Classic Rock feed was too much, and downright piercing near the entrance/check-out.
I doubt I'll be back to this location...
