Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Virginia

I’ve been loyal to this dominos location for a long time but tonight I’ve decided to no longer order with them. The order tracker never updated after an hour so I called and a young lady answered who didn’t quite seem to know what she was doing so I decided to keep my cool thinking she was a new hire.

She said it would take 25-30 additional minutes since they were busy. I told her calmly that this was unacceptable especially since I already provided tip. She apologized and I decided to wait.

After 5 minutes of thinking back on the call, I didn’t think it was right to tip anyone after waiting for so long so I called again and someone answered and asked if I could be out on a brief hold, I waited 10 minutes and lost my patience so I hung up and called back.

The second call was answered immediately then the girl who answered only said “hello?” Instead of the corporate script to welcome calls. I was confused so I said hello back and she put me on hold. At this point I was hungry tired and very annoyed so I called back again and told the girl I was not happy with her and wanted to speak to the manager.

The manager answered immediately and kept trying to explain their situation at the store and I was trying to be totally understanding to their short staff but I explained again that I paid for the food and the tip already so I wanted to cancel. The manager was very polite and calm, I’m sure she was stressed too but they need to train better and staff more team members before i continue...

please do not order from this site if you are starving or even little hungry especially between 11:15 am est and 12:00pm est or between 5:00pm est and 7:00pm est. I do not know what happened to this site, previously , even in rush hour , it can guarantee the delivery at least in 45mins, but for the past 2 times, it shocked me so much with so quick bad performance changed in such a short time, I ordered at 11:15 am one time last month, I got the delivery one and half hour later, today , I ordered at 6pm est, and no exaggeration I am still waiting for it (now it is 7:35pm est) and the system shows for another 'Current estimated delivery time 36 - 46 mins' . I understand they must be in tough time in rush hour, but an order that needs to wait 2 hours , that is hilarious, I planed to put a huge order this week, but apparently this site is not qualified anymore, and Bye for this site in the rest of my life and thank you for your past 5 years reasonable service .

and most updated, after 2 hours wait since 6pm est, the system shows the status as delivered but cannot find anything in front door...

I typically only order delivery from here. I’ve never had a great experience but it’s been tolerable. The app usually says 45-55 minutes for delivery and I’ve never had it come within an hour. Last night after the app said it had been delivered and I didn’t have my food, I called the store. I was told it was a glitch and the order would be there soon. Another 30 minutes passed and still no food so I called back. I had a very difficult time getting anyone on the phone. I sat on hold for several minutes and tried again, 4 more times. Once I called from a different phone my call was taken and the man on the other end cut me off and talked over me the whole time. When I told him to stop interrupting me, he hung up on me. We did finally get our food but 90+ minutes later and it was cold. I called to ask to speak to a manager and was told there wasn’t one working and they don’t know when one will be in and everyone I had just dealt with all clocked...
