We have been supporting the local owners who have grown and now I believe owned multiple locations of the Dunkin franchise and the service was not the best but mediocre. But lately we are noticing the staff being unprofessional, and seems as they don't care if the service is no longer a priority. The owners are neglecting as they are rolling in dough! Quantity over quality. As, we supported them and made them succesful when they first started out. My family, friends and colleagues who have supported these locations are also noticing the same. I just saw some of the other reviews left 2.0 speaks for itself.
Today experience took me overvthe edge and fell compelled to leave a constructive feefback. We were concerned about our order and expressed our concern to the so call wanna be manager named "Saren". Saren started raising her voice at us and spoke to us in a condescending manner where everybody including customers could hear here lashing out at us. My wife politely asked Saren that she is causing a scene and to keep her voice down which she didn't adhere to. We then told her that we will not be riduculed or disrepected and we will take our business elsewhere where we are appreciated and respected as a customer. We asked her to refund our money and she took all of the products back and then short changed us by trying to rip us off by giving refund as we noticed walking out and compared to the original receipt amount paid. We will never give any future business to where Saren manages. We love Dunkin Coffee and will start going to Starbuck where we always greeted respectfully with a smile and rectify any issues without huffing & puffing. Rolling...
Read moreI'm a regular customer at this store since 2016 and I live not too far from the store, I had no issues in the past but lately I've had multiple bad experiences. I even intentionally went to Staples Mill DD few times before writing this review. I've been a multi-unit manager for DD for few years in Boston and I know how DD crew should work and behave if right people are hired and proper training is provided but I'm not finding this at this store. Mostly my orders are not taken properly as the crew is not listening or busy with something in their head. I found lack of friendliness and smile on their face and more importantly rude gestures and attitude. Today, I was in the store and there was a drive-through customer. One of the crews handed the coffee to the customer and the customer was asking for few napkins but the crew completely ignored her and closed the drive through door. I told the crew that the lady is asking for something and she responded to her hesitantly and gave few napkins but did not say a word to the customer and closed the window right away. Based on what I know, DD has one of the best customer service training available for crews online but the crews at this store seem to be either not trained properly or hired anyone out of necessity or they are just there to collect their pay. We used to teach LAST method, which stands for (Listen, Apologize, Solve, & Thank). No one in this store says Thank You. When a customer says "Thank You" they look at the customer like a deer on the head lights and say nothing but walk away. I even know the names of the crews but I'm not going to mention...
Read moreI worked here for about- a week. I was a Dunkin rehire as I had been with the company for a year. I thought it was gonna go well! Friendly staff, friendly district manager, general manager, etc. Turns out that I hated the atmosphere. Super cliquey environment and I tried getting to know people, but it’s like they judged me for literally everything I said and did hindsight. It was like I was walking on eggshells, especially around the assistant manager, Dwayne. He was kinda two faced and it showed. They didn’t let me show my skills either. They kept me at register forever and it ticked me off so bad. I wanted to make drinks as I KNEW that was my strongest skill. It was all super frustrating and I felt like it was impossible to show my potential in knowing Dunkin like the back of my hand. I felt like I was being held back and restrained from going at the pace that I was already ready to go at. Yes, I was warming up to a completely different district, different store rules, etc. I was anticipating on becoming a night shift lead as I was a shift lead in the past for the company, unfortunately I just disliked the atmosphere. :/ I was interested in working for corporate for dunkin, but decided to bail and switched to Starbucks in northern Va as a supervisor. Much better company. Anyways, I hope things are going super smooth at this location and I...
