Never again will I ever go back to this racist place!!!! I've been going there over 15 years and the experience I had and being threatened with the cops being called because I brought 2 Mexican pizzas back that I was told I could get remade which I kept in my car for days and the manager was on the phone and told the girl to male me leave and she was gonna call the cops which I was not irate I was calm even while being threatened I did not curse but was cursed out by the manager who said my father is the manager or owner and he will stand behind me which I'm sure could be far from the truth she yelled and told me to come back in a week and get tf out or she's calling the cops on me horrible experience horrible customer service skills will never go back again I suggest you evaluate who your dealing with and their attitude of you date eat there and your black because I was shocked amd did not get irate at all!!!!! I'm pretty sure that the family ownership has been the same during the entire time. The food is good, their own sauce that they make is really good, and the taco salad is huge and also very good. Prices are very reasonable and they usually have a special going, just about all of the time. Really simple place, not as fancy as say A La Carreta, but I like the food better, and it's definitely better than Taco Bell. Good prices, good food, laid-back place. My parents own a cabin on Smith Mountain Lake, and for over twenty years we traveled from Maryland to SML, and El Cabrito's was often a lunch stop on the journey to the lake. As a kid I loved the plain Mexican pizza, and as an adult I loved the cheap, tasty tacos. I would often start up the battle chant of "EL CABRITO'S!!" a few miles before the Lynchburg exit (with an offensively exaggerated accent), and my Dad would take up the chant, until my Mom capitulated (she never liked the place...
