Elizabeth's Pizza — Restaurant in Virginia

Elizabeth’s pizza in Collinsville has always been a favorite for years for takeout when they actually answer their phone for to go orders. And this has been going on way before Covid. However, the last time I ordered a to go order from there which was my usual manicotti entree which comes with salad & bread. This time there was something very hard in the salad and I almost chipped my tooth 2 times on whatever was! It looked like very tiny rocks in my salad! I called Elizabeth’s and no one would answer per usual so I called the one in Martinsville and spoke to a very nice gentleman. He took all my information down and told me he would get in touch with the manager and then someone would get back in touch with me! I would like to start off by saying Elizabeth's Pizza has always been one of my favorite pizza places!! The pizza was good and hot I just was not crazy about the type of white cheese that was all over the top of it it just didn't seem like your average mozzarella cheese, not bad but not to my liking one other thing the crust seemed to be a little thicker than it used to be. I feel as if I had should have ordered the steak and cheese as I remember 12 years ago the steak and cheese's were excellent!! They're cheesesteaks are amazing but we ordered twice and both times there were issues with my order. We ordered a sandwich and a pizza. When we got our sandwich they said the pizza was almost ready. Ten minutes later, we found out they forgot about the pizza so we had to wait another 15 minutes for our pizza. The pizza was gross and flavorless. My kids refused to eat it and the love Little Ceasars. We order 5 cheesesteaks to go. Paid for the more expensive ones and all five had only meat and cheese. No lettuce and tomato. When trying to call the company (the same number on the menu), because we love in Danville and they are located in Martinsville, the phone was unavailable.
