Franco's Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Virginia

We were passing through town this evening, and were given a dinner recommendation from our hotel desk clerk when we asked for a good place to eat. This restaurant was close by and was serving late, both good points. The restaurant is located in a smaller strip mall with ample parking and easy handicap accessibility. We were seated and attended to quickly and efficiently in the cozy dining room by a very friendly server. She was gracious and very helpful in answering our questions about menu items. The menu offers an abundant assortment of authentic Italian entrees and pizzas.

My entree of homemade pasta with shrimp pink sauce was absolutely delicious. And the portions were huge! My husband loved his meat lovers pasta! We couldn’t finish either entree. I especially enjoyed the garlic knots and the Caesar salad.

The owner, who came out to introduce himself, was friendly and seemed genuinely interested in our dining experience. He shared a bit about his background from Sicily.

Having been to many restaurants, especially Italian restaurants all over the world, I must highlight this place in particular. Not only was the food terrific, but the service there really put that extra special touch on the visit. Our server naturally made us feel so warm and welcomed with her fantastic attitude, her attention to all the details and making the visit great. She even asked us to give feedback on what we tried, which I’m sure is why she was able to honestly give us menu suggestions which all turned out great. There’s very few places I would want to go back very often, but this is one of them! The prices are great, portions are big (especially given that the quality is top marks) and clearly the bench mark for their service is fine dining with charm. Ps the pizza is on top of the list with a crisp crust and a soft chew inside, the garlic knots are unbelievably good in it’s simplicity.. the dough is airy and light with a nice thin crisp crust and a perfect balance of Flavors.. I can go on but I suggest you make this place a priority and try...

We absolutely LOOOOVE Franco’s, there pasta and pizza is so good as well as there burgers and appetizers they also offer a lot of different varietie of foods, pizza subs, burgers pasta etc and a lot of the sauces are homemade so it’s very good. Also the portions of food you get is amazing. There is always enough to fill you up and have some to take home. Also the prices are very reasonable and the staff is very friendly and they definitely try to accommodate your needs. I definitely would recommend eating here!
