Grace Sushi and Boba Tea — Restaurant in Virginia

I’ve now eaten at Grace Sushi twice in one week; once with my wife for dinner and once during a work lunch, and both visits were flawless. The food comes out fast, which is perfect when you’re on a lunch break or sitting across from a hungry spouse who isn't interested in waiting.

I’ve eaten sushi at close to fifty different restaurants over the years, and I always judge a place by its spicy tuna roll. Grace Sushi’s version is easily one of the best I’ve ever had; perfect texture, clean flavor, and just the right heat. I tried a few different rolls between both visits and every single one was top tier.

They’ve clearly put thought into the menu as well. There are just as many cooked rolls as raw options, which makes it great for people who are new to sushi or a little hesitant. My wife ordered sashimi and said it was every bit as good as anything you’d get in the cities or Twin Ports, probably better. That’s not faint praise.

Prices are extremely fair for the area, especially considering the quality. The fish is fresh, flavorful, and portions are generous. I even grabbed a mango smoothie on a whim and it was fantastic! Bright, creamy, and not overly sweet. My wife had the lychee smoothie and said it was one of the best she’s ever had.

Both times, the staff was friendly, attentive, and on top of things. Service, food quality, and atmosphere were all excellent. Honestly, it’s hard to come up with even a single complaint. I was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this sushi restaurant while visiting the Iron Range for work—a true hidden gem. The expansive menu left me spoiled for choice, making it tough to decide which rolls to try. I settled on the crispy spicy roll and the chef’s special roll, both of which were outstanding. Grace Sushi is such a welcoming spot with incredibly nice staff! The sushi here is definitely high quality. They have a nice variety, though the roll selection is a bit limited. The seaweed salad was wonderfully savory and a perfect appetizer. It is a little pricey, but sushi usually tends to be, and the quality makes it worth it.
