Absolutely amazing memorial for all veterans and patriots alike! This is one of the coolest war memorial sculptures I have seen and is such a great tribute to those who selflessly lost their lives! So many intricate details are in this sculpture, including the stars on the back of the eagle's head and the embossed phrase "shoulder to shoulder even the fallen stand together" near the tail. Just wish it was located in a little better place in the city.

Nice display for history fans. Unfortunately, homeless people have taken up residence under the pavilion nearby. The day I visited, there was trash and worse on the lawn of the memorial.
