Hunan Cafe — Restaurant in Virginia

This place is good. Not the best Ive ever had burbs solid choice and you can't really go wrong.

So when you go in this place looks like it's mostly for takeout or delivery. They have a small simple eating area but it's clean. I always check out the bathroom at places like this, a clean bathroom a sifn he kitchen is also clean. Well here both the bathroom and the kitchen were exceptionally clean.

Onto the food. The food is good. Not overly salty like a lot of places. I will say they tend to make dishes on the spicy side so if you can't handle the heat be sure to specify mild. I REPEAT, IF YOU DONT LIKE SPICE YOU BETTER TELL THEM TO MAKE IT MILD.

I agree with other reviewers in that the rice is a bit dry, it's just plain white rice like you would get at Panda Express. The food though, the food is a big step up.

I have eaten here twice. Once dine in, once take out. Delivery was fine. I didn't hear any BS about a tip like the other reviewer said, but I did tip the guy about 20% for a prompt delivery. It was great. then again I had an order of 5 entrees. Maybe if you are ordering for 1 person they don't like to deliver because it's not worth it for them, who knows. I always eat out with a group

Anyhow 4/5. Not the best in the world, but the best I've found within 15 miles of Sterling. Fresh and good. I was disappointed they don't offer lunch pricing at all on Sundays. Otherwise prices are good, 8.00 for vegetarians, $9 to $13 for standard chicken -...

We ordered in Hunan Cafe for the first time. But they do successfully disappointed me! I ordered Mongolian Beef and Chicken Curry. The Mongolian Beef doesn't even look a beef dish! The container is just a full of sauteed onions! Beef? What the hell was that? The Chicken Curry? It just looks like a pure veggie dish. Chickens are cut 1 inch and guess what? Just 3 pieces on it in the container full of of veggies! How come they even called that a Chicken Curry? Poor Service! I even waited there for almost 20 mins even after I got the confirmation to pick up the order on time!...

Ok the food taste okay. But if I called in a order and asked for the chicken wings and fries which is on their menu the lady said. No we have parts and only the fries didn't come together . I went and looked at the menu and. Called back she and asked her again and she said yes chicken wings whole and fries on a platter so I continues d .
