Winner, winner, breakfast for dinner! There’s nothing more fun, more laid back, than having breakfast for dinner, and we’ve enjoyed a few of these feasts at sunset, rather than sunrise. Each and every time we arrive, someone greets us warmly, and takes us to a seat quickly. No sooner than we receive our menus, a server pops up, offering us drinks and asking us if we have any questions. Albert, Amara, and Brian have all served us so cheerfully and professionally that I feel confident in recommending this IHOP for its consistent friendly service, and I must complement the management on such a great team. Everyone treats us so well here.
Creatures of habit, my husband and I order pretty much the same thing every time: the Quick 2-Egg Breakfast for him, and the strawberry banana pancakes for me. Starting each breakfast for dinner with a full pot of coffee is the way to go, and this brew always warms my soul and my tummy with its robust flavors and aromas. Accompanied by a tall glass of refreshing orange juice, my husband’s Quick 2-Egg Breakfast featured two eggs, over medium, with firm egg whites surrounding the oh-so-runny yolks inside. A true comfort food for him, these eggs were rich in flavor, prepared and served precisely to meet the temperatures needed for a perfectly runny yolk. He appreciated how every time, his expectations for a piping hot, properly made breakfast are not just met, but exceeded. Golden brown and crispy along the edges with tender potatoes inside, the hash browns were the fitting companion to the eggs. Not to be forgotten, the sausage and the bacon were salty, smoky, flavorful additions.
Stacked four pancakes high, topped with banana slices and strawberries, and garnished with whipped cream and strawberry syrup, the strawberry banana pancakes were ordered by both of us. This dish is yet another comfort food dish that we look forward to, and each time it thoroughly met expectations. While the pancakes are consistently delicious, fluffy, and satisfying, they were a touch crispier on one occasion, and we were told that Rodney was in the kitchen that evening. Such attentiveness to detail should be commended, as this stack was meticulously decorated with the toppings as well. He really took pride in his work, and we appreciated it so much.
Seems to me like it’s time to head back to this IHOP for...
Read moreI wish there was a zero star for rating this place. The staff especially Aldair does not know how to talk to the customers and does not respond to people and ignores them. It happened to other customers who were also very disappointed the way he was ignoring them and it was a rainy day with heavy thunderstorm and i had gone to this place with my wife and my 8 month old baby and he was very arrogant and disrespectful not understandable to have us wait in the waiting area and I do understand due to the pandemic I was asked to leave the premises and wait outside until i would be called in for the table. the others who did not have kids left and said the same that he could give us an exception since we had a small baby and that it was raining heavily outside and my car was parked around the building in the back, but still in spite of only us waiting there he kicked us out of the restaurant. Also, they talk a lot about cdc guidelines and one of the person working there had not covered his nose with the mask and i had to tell them to follow the cdc guidelines before trying to enforce on the customers. I would never go back to such a place where the staff themselves do not follow the guidelines and try to impose on the customers to do so. I would like the manager to talk to their employees and train them to talk to the customers in a proper and...
Read moreFirstly when I arrived, it was a slow Tuesday afternoon, but no one was waiting to seat me. After 5 minutes someone finally seats me but takes a while to take my order. The girl that served me look really nervous so I don't know if she was new, but someone should have been helping her. All I wanted was pancakes. My pancakes took forever. There were literally only 3 parties in the restaurant so I don't understand what the hold up was. But the pancakes were delicious. When I was ready to pay I took out my digital gift card, the waitress refused to take my card and said it needed to be a physical card. If that was a problem why would IHOP allow people to buy digital gift cards? So, I asked for the manager, and he also refused to take my card, he said it's just policy. So I angerily said "It's just your policy to not take a gift card that was electronically sent to me? That makes absolutely no sense." So he looks at the card from my phone and says "Well....it looks legit, I'll go ahead and accept it." The girl enters my card number on the computer and they get paid with no problem. So why was it an issue for you to take my digital gift card! And the fact that their cash register took the gift card with no problems lets me know, it was no policy, he just wanted to be a jerk. Not going back...
