There are not many restaurants in this area so we were excited to come here before our concert. I am here now and unfortunately it is not a positive experience. It seems like it is the first day of work for the entire staff. It took quite a while for a bartender to greet us. The bartender clearly hasn’t been doing this long and is a sweet girl but simply has no clue what a bartender should be doing or how to do it. When I asked for my dish without one of the toppings she frowned and didn’t even know the topping was included. I had to show her. The little boy who delivered the food was very rude; no home training or training for his job it seems. My food came out including the topping that I asked to remove. The bartender never brought us napkins or cutlery and never came back to check on us until we signaled for her. Someone in a black shirt came and barked at me with no introduction about if I wanted my food remade. I can only assume he is a supervisor. I don’t expect to spend money to be treated like I’m doing them a favor. There are flys and it is kinda disgusting. When we asked for straws we got different straws which is odd. We will not be returning. I assume this place only survives because there is literally nowhere else to go around here. Tis a shame.
I had to come back and add to this because when I asked the bartender to check on my food she rolled her eyes as if I am the one who didn’t make right. I managed restaurants for 2 decades and as annoying as it is… you are in the hospitality business. If the mistake is on the house… you’ve gotta be nice to the customer. As I previously stated, she has clearly not been trained properly. After my food came the second time I waited 10 minutes for someone to bring me utensils. They never did. Mind you, I’m at the bar. If one of the bartenders just looked over then they would notice.
I do want to mention that the bartender that wasn’t primarily serving us seemed good. I wish she served us...
Read moreThis was our first time at this establishment and while we were seated quickly, not one waitress said hello or that anyone would be right with us. We waited... and waited... and waited and I don't mean 15 minutes, I mean longer.. a lot longer. My husband said he was going to ask if we had a waitress but I told him give it 10 more minutes and we could just leave. I could have just went through a Taco Bell at that point.
Right before we were deciding to leave or not, the couple sitting beside us leaned over and said they had the same thing happen to them before too but not nearly as long as we had been waiting and they were surprised we didn't just walk out. They agreed that at least one waitress could have acknowledged us as several kept walking by. So when their waitress came to their table, they told her no one had been to our table then entire time and that we had been waiting patiently and weren't even being acknowledged. Thankfully, their waitress turned around and said she would help us. It was really awkward but we were thankful that these lovely strangers spoke up for us.
The service was decent and the food was pretty good. The cook (I'm assuming since he was dressed in the attire) brought us our appetizer and he wasn't very friendly at all. But it was whatever at that point. We were hungry and just wanted food. The prices were ok, not for the service we got, but if it was better then the prices would have been reasonable. I'm not sure if we'd go back here. My husband says no, but I say maybe. It wasn't a good experience at all and to be honest, going out to eat is expensive now a days. So when you do go places, you deserve good service. And yes, still left a good tip. But I do hope the owners see this review because clearly their staff dropped the ball the...
Read moreIt's been about $50 there and the only thing I ate was my potatoes and that's only because I doused them with some sauce.
The Benedict was strong mustard flavored Hollandaise sauce, and the other stuff they had on it could not be tasted at all. It was overwhelmingly bad.
I did not eat any of it except for the first couple bites to try to make it work.
Rather than asking if I was going to eat it, a gentleman came to our table and just grabbed it without questions, an entire plate of food and walked off.
I was in charge full price for everything.
It's a freaking joke that this is what they would call service, and hospitality. I will never return here and I will never get takeout again. We've had food from here four times and every time it's been extremely disappointing.
Not to mention the experience of sitting in this place you felt like sardines. They really fool you with presentation because all the food looks great but then when you eat it it's just so not what it should be or could be. I get that this must mean it's relative per person but that's why reviews are relative per person and her experience.
Edit- If you want to make it right, you can give me a partial refund on that Entree That your employee took from our table without so much as a word to me or my wife, after all, I'm neither ate it nor did I have the opportunity to take it with me. You charged me full price and then had an employee walk by and in his peripheral vision. Grab the plate as he was walking.
Typically if somebody sees a full plate of food they would ask. Are you going to eat that or would you like a box to go? And I never even had the opportunity to tell your staff I'm not going to eat it. I would like to send it back because he just took it back and then I was...
