Very disappointed! I have always went to this place for dine-in or for pick-up and had a good experience. Today, placed an order through Door dash for pickup and pick-up time was initially in 15 mins from placing order and in 2 mins it changed to an hour. By that time restaurant will be closed so I called them to ask if I can come by to pickup at the original time it showed and the guy who answered immediately started saying ' Go ask Door dash, Go ask Door dash' in a rude tone and repeatedly mentioned the same. I know they make the food ready in 10 mins but he never mentioned that I can come and collect and the timing in the app is a tech glitch. After all this when I asked if it will be ready or not, he says it will be ready in 10 mins and disconnected just like that. Went to pickup and wanted to see who spoke to me and he is like what you want to do now. There is the food, if you want pickup or leave. Never had this kind of experience in any restaurant and never in this place as the guy I know was always down to earth. No idea if he was aggressive since I ordered thru Door dash and not directly with them or I'm a delivery guy, but I'm never ever going to visit this place anymore.

Last month when I placed pick-up order, I reached 2 mins after closing time, they put the food out of the restaurant on the floor and left. Not sure if anyone will do that. It was my mistake to order with them again today.

I recently ordered food from this restaurant, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The quantity of food served was far below expectations. When we called to address the issue, the owner, Raghu, happened to answer the call. Instead of listening and resolving the concern, he chose to argue, insisting that we had placed the wrong order — even after we clearly explained the situation.

After being on the call for over 6 minutes, I mentioned that this issue could easily be solved with a simple solution. However, rather than apologizing or taking responsibility, Raghu passed the call to his front desk staff, instructing them to either bring the biryani refill or apologize.

We even went to the restaurant (Janata Bar) by 9:48 PM, only to find it closed — leaving the issue unresolved.

If you are relying on bringing food from this restaurant and eat at home it will be a night mare so make a better choice

Such poor customer service and unprofessional behavior are completely unacceptable. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Ashburn or Herndon area.

A gentle reminder to the management — always remember, the customer is like a god. Treat them with respect, and they will return. Ignore them, and you lose...

Was shopping at the Ashburn Lotte and decided to check out nearby Delhi-6 for some Indian food. They did not disappoint! We had Lamb Korma and Lamb Chop Masala. If you like lamb, these are great options. The Lamb Korma gravy topped with chopped cashews was rich and creamy. The pieces of lamb were tender and delicious. I doused the gravy onto my rice and enjoyed every mouthful. The Lamb Chop Masala was totally worth the price. They first put the lamb chops in the tandoor and then added the masala sauce on top. Biting into the lamb, you first encounter a crispy crust on the outside before sinking your teeth into the moist, tasty meat. That was the first time I had lamb chops like this and I enjoyed it tremendously

Other than the food, we found the service friendly and attentive. Maybe because we were there a little early (before 6pm)? I was looking around the restaurant at the pictures and decor, and each time my eyes meet the waiter's he would come over and asked if I needed anything.
