Came here to order falafel platters and baklava. Placed my order. 2 minutes later they came out and told me they do not have falafel. I asked for my money to be refunded to the credit card I placed them on but they told me they could not do that and would zelle me later if I gave them my phone number. I told them I don't have zelle and either needed cash or a refund to my credit card. They told me they couldn't do that and I told them they needed to call the manager or the owner to give me my money back. The owner advised that she was not near the store and it would take 20 to 30 minutes to come to the store to refund my money. It is ridiculous that a business does not have the ability to refund your money if they do not have the food. And why would they have taken my order if they didn't have the food in the first place. Bad experience. No apology. Bad service experience overall, and waste of my time when I was supposed to be meeting someone. Will...
Read moreMy friends and I stopped here for lunch. We didn’t realize it was attached to a gas station, the kids were hungry so we decided to stay and we’re glad we did. The spicy chicken kabob is very good. It came with chickpeas and grilled veggies as well as a pico salad and some sauces. I ordered the lamb qaubli polau, I thought I’d be able to order chickpeas and grilled veggies too but it came with just spinach. It was okay. I prefer the spicy chicken kabob. We also had mango lassi, it was so-so. Not sweet, tasted like it was made from mango paste or something and not fresh mangos. I feel the orders got mixed up and things were left out but overall it filled our tummies. They have a little seating area outside where we sat. Definitely go for the spicy chicken kabob, that’s the highlight (not spicy though), they could kick...
Read moreOMG this place is so good!!! Plan on food to go or sit at one of the two outdoor picnic tables. And yes, the restaurant IS in the Shell gas station.
I got the spicy chicken over rice with a side of chickpeas and a piece of naan and it was soooo delicious, made to order, fresh rice, huge portion (I saved half for the next day), and seriously not spicy (but incredibly yummy). My partner got some kind of burrito (I don’t think it was a gyro). Also the tzatziki sauce was on point.
We technically dined in but everything was in to go containers and we ate at the picnic tables outside between doctor appointments.
From now on, we stop here for food after seeing one of our equally amazing (and totally unrelated) doctors/specialists at Stone...
