The Misky Chicken — Restaurant in Virginia

I LOVEEE this place. I've had peruvian chicken at multiple other locations but haven't had any that are as good as this place. I don't know what magic this mans uses to cook his chicken but it's so tender to the point where I just use a fork to scrape the chicken off the bone and it's actually juicy. The chicken is also marinated and seasoned to perfection. It's slightly smoky, a little tangy, and sooooo savory. The green sauce is also crack and the yellow sauce pairs perfectly with it. I've been coming here almost every week the past 2 months and everything has been consistently amazing. It's always been the same guy that greets me when I pick up my food too and he's always so happy. Atmosphere definitely gives hole in the wall vibes and there's not much seating but I always just do take out anyways.

I was feeling compelled to write this review today though because I just went to Mr. Pollo to try their peruvian chicken since it's much closer to my job and it really solidified how much better The Misky Chicken is compared to other places. The chicken at Mr. Pollo was dry with just okay...

I loved it! We don't come to this shopping center much because I didn't think there was much in it, but today, my husband wanted yucca, so I suggested here. I'm soooo glad we did. The man who helped us was very nice and the food is amazing. I HIGHLY recommend trying it. We got the whole chicken meal, 2 extra sides, and extra white sauces. I was excited about this place since there are not many restaurants in Stoneridge. Honestly, I wouldn't go back. I think chicken is little too dry and price is little too high from my point. There is nothing special about this place. There was a big trash bin near the cutting board. I saw the man throwing the pieces of chicken in trash bin using the tong he used to hold the chicken. He put it back the tong on the cutting board. I think it was disgusting to see that. The tong was touching the trash bin and back to use that...
