After an exhausting night of indecision and going to and promptly leaving at least 4 different places (including Panera, Tropical Smoothie, and Five Guys) before coming here, we arrived hangry, frustrated, and on the brink of giving up trying to find affordable good food and service. This location and the staff won us over almost immediately with their friendly smiling faces, efficient service, and plethora of delicious options at great prices. The staff were so attentive and personable, and you could just tell that they enjoyed their jobs (which really makes a difference for the customer, in my opinion). The food came quickly, presented with class, and we gobbled up every bit. We are SO grateful we decided to eat at McAlister's tonight. The bathrooms were clean and tidy, as was the whole restaurant. All my mental check points that I use to judge a place were aced at this location, and you have just won lifelong customers! By the way, Jamie and Bailey were phenomenal and deserve a raise. 🙌 Thank you for coming through for us tonight, ...
Read moreVERY disappointed in everything about this McAlister's. Ordered online for pickup - there was no sign saying to wait in the regular line to pay and get our food, so my coworker and I approached the pickup counter. Employees saw us standing there and said nothing. Finally another customer let us know that we needed to be in the regular line to get our online order. The cashier (a heavy-set girl with at least 3 or 4 facial piercings, tattoos, and a serious case of RBF) was so unbelievably rude to not just me, but the customer in front of me. Not only did she talk back, not apologize for not doing her job, but she rolled her eyes at multiple people.
If that wasn't disappointing enough, when I got back to work and opened my box, my sandwich was wrong.
I commend the manager for at least trying to recover service, however, given the location and number of other options in that shopping center - I don't see a scenario in which I'll ever go back...
Read moreIt's a very good soup and sandwich chain with reasonable prices. I was happy to find Tuesday was kid's eat free night by chance. Think Jason's Deli without the salad bar or ice cream. Although the sandwiches are probably a tad better than Jason's.
This local store always seems to have friendly staff and the food quality is very good. Occasionally it seems we wait a bit long for casual dining, but that's not the norm.
My boys enjoyed their mac and cheese which was far better than the cheap craft some stores serve. I enjoyed the french dip. I'd love to give it 5 stars, but there isn't that one amazing thing to call out that makes me clamor to go back as a first choice restaurant (although kid's night will likely draw us back in several times). It is one of the better if not my preferred casual dining spot in Westchester. In short, if you want a sandwich in a place that isn't crammed (looking at you which which) McAlister's is a...
