McDonald's — Restaurant in Virginia

I'm not normally a fan of rating places negatively. But it typically requires a lot of problems/errors for me to do it with a fast food location. My experience was riddled with mistakes despite me trying to help the staff make sure they got my order right. In the drive thru, at the order speaker, I clarified 3 separate times everything that should be on the screen. The order was not difficult and when I heard how panicked the cashier was I even made it simpler by making me and my girlfriend's drinks both Sprite and both meals larges. The screen came up wrong, which I pointed out and she told me it sometimes doesn't show everything. At the payment window, I met the cashier and asked for a receipt. Then proceeded to show her that I was missing an order of fries. Simple change right? I gave her my card and made sure to get the fries ordered. She assured me it would all come out ok. At the pickup window, I had a manager confirm my order verbally. He told me to go ahead and park and he'd bring it out to me since he was making my spicy nuggets fresh. After a total time of 23 minutes from order to receiving my food, the manager handed me the bag, I asked him yet again if it had everything and repeated what should be there. He said he was sure. I decided to go ahead and trust him because I was needing to get home, and what are the odds the order will be messed up when a manager has checked it? Well, I got home and opened the bag and started divvying up the food only to find they completely forgot my girlfriend's order of nuggets. The easiest thing about the order. A #6 Large with a Sprite with Sweet and Sour sauce. So now I'm sitting here looking like an idiot while we go back to get the food we were owed. The rest of the food got cold and we asked for an actually full large pouch of french fries freshly made because the ones they gave us felt leathery. When that was communicated to the person at the fry station, we heard him audibly curse in response. Long story short, I'd avoid this location and go to the one near the Giant off Gloucester Rd. I will not be going back to that...

I don't know if it was the mobile order app but my collection of the order threw this location into a tailspin. They asked to see my mobile order at the 1st window and the attendant stared at it like the screen had cast a spell on her thus putting her in a trance like state until I asked what was wrong. She then direct me to pull to the next window where I assume the manager met me and asked to also look at my mobile order on my mobile. Oh, my order wasn't ready and I waited a few minutes which was okay since I was the only car in the drive thru at that moment. But as soon as my order was completed he hands it to me and then slams the window and quickly walks away. I had to flag/wave down an attended to get my condiments. No reciept, not monopoly game pieces on my purchases but the food was hot and nicely prepared. I would have rather had them tell me to cancel the mobile order and start over to make sure they're system was working correctly but that's after the fact. A big plus wasbmy food didn't look drop kicked into the bag before hand it to me and my soda actually...

I ordered right after the breakfast time which was 11:03 a.m. so I expected a bit of a wait on my food which was a Big Mac and a kids four piece nugget Happy Meal. Two other customers came in after me one order two double cheeseburgers another a cheeseburger and McDouble they got their food before me I asked one of the cashiers why was it taking so long on my order he said that the meat was being made fresh since they had just switched over to lunch food but how is it that two customers that came in after me got their food before me and the meat that's used for McDoubles and double cheeseburgers is the same meat Patty that's use for Big Macs 'Cricket's' no answer he just turned around ask the cook where was the big Mac gave it to me no thank you no sorry nothing by then it was 11:25 am. I wouldn't have gotten upset if they where honest and just said oh sorry we forgot I get it people make mistakes that's fine but...
