So i had an issue with the mobile app where a receipt wasn't generated but they charged my card. So on 11/18/24 @ 8:30ish I called the restaurant and ask to see if they got my order and I explained that idk why the app didn't give me a receipt but I got charged and if he can check to see if he got an order. He kept asking for a receipt number and trying to explain to me where to find it. Which is fine but I kept telling him thats it's not there. He saw that there was an order and even said my name and I was like great that's me. Can you just confirm what I ordered and he kept asking for a receipt number which for the 100th time I don't have it but you have my name and I'm telling you what is in the order just confirm it and I'll go pick it up. Then he tried to get me to cancel the order. I told him im not trying to cancel it i already paid, i just want to make sure you have it and thats it. Then he asked asking for a order number and I'm like dude, i told you i dont have it. Then he lies to me and says he can't see what's in there order. I'm like...umm your freaking lieing to me.. of course you can see the order as you can see from the attached photo on this post. Then he tries to gaslight me by saying that I shouldn't talk to him like that and I shouldnt call him a lier. And clearly he's lieing because there no way you can't see the order that I already paid for, and which you just said you have my name yet you cant see... like how are you going to make an order you can't see... that doesnt make any sense.. it's not like I'm asking for anything free, I'm just trying to make sure you got my order. Then he says I don't have time for you, and he leaves the phone open and starts talking trash to the other workers about me calling him a lier. Gaslighting me as if I was the one being rude... their own web page says that they can see the order. All I ask was for him to confirm and I'll be right there. I don't know what the problem was...but if he doesn't want to be called a lier then don't lie for no reason. Then don't try to gaslight me as if I was treating you bad. And try to get me to cancel my order. Idk what his deal was but there's no need to lie to people and then gaslight them when they call you out. I understand it's not an easy job. He shouldn't be lying to people who are just trying to confirm an order. This is not the 1st time managers at this McDonald's have been rube just for asking...
Read moreOrdered a deluxe chicken sandwich, a double cheeseburger, and a large fry. Manager was at the number 2 window instructing the attendant. I repeated my order. I received a deluxe chicken sandwich, a charge for 2 added cheese slices, a large fry and no double cheeseburger. I went thru the drive up again and ordered the double cheeseburger. The girl at the #2 window told me to speak with the manager at the next window. I âtriedâ to explain my issues with the manager âI didnât order cheese for the chicken sandwich and didnât receive the double cheeseburger that I did order. He was extremely rude, telling me that I didnât receive the double cheeseburger because I didnât pay for it. I tried to explain to him that it was part of my order, but all he could say is I didnât pay for it. The charge for two cheese slices was for the chicken sandwich, and checking when I got home saw that there there was one on the sandwich and I didnât want cheese on the sandwich to be begin with. Since our food was getting cold and it was obvious I would not get anywhere with this extremely rude manager I decided to leave and come in the next day to address this with a daytime manager. This happened around 9 PM on...
Read more....so apparently McDonalds doesn't do requests anymore. Now, without context, that statement doesn't matter. This was a little while ago. I stopped trying at this one, because I kept being told no and driving away hungry and a little upset. So here's context: I asked for a McChicken and a McDouble. Then I asked for those two sandwiches to be combined into 1 sandwich, with 1 bun. It's not hard. It's not complicated. And it's much easier to do with a counter than it would be for me to do it on my lap. A lot easier to clean, too, if there are any mistakes.
They said no. I want this review to remain, so I will refrain from expletives.
Look, it's not been all that long since I have worked in (and I do respect the dignity of the folks who still do work in) the food service industry. I'm not trying to make anybody's day harder. But if it's not too much out of your way - can you please make mine a little easier?
Whenever I get this response, you don't get my business. I know I'm not alone in that.
God knows your food isn't that great. It's cheap, with a little sugar thrown in. You need...
