This is probably the worst McDonald's I've been too. After placing a breakfast mobile order at 10am I sat in the drive thru for over 45 minutes boxed in by cars, so I couldn't even park and walk in if I wanted. Once we finally reached the pay here window I was told by the very rude lady with chin hairs working the window that our order had been canceled because we didn't move through the line fast enough and that breakfast ended at 10:30. We explained that we placed it at 10am and been waiting in line, and also that the money has been taken from my partners account, and that we weren't comfortable leaving without either a refund, the food we paid and waited 45 minutes for, or at least a receipt to dispute the issue with the bank. The lady then tried to convince us to reorder and pay again, which we expressed we weren't doing. The lady in the drive through window, with the chin hairs, then began screaming to I guess her coworkers in the bank that she needed a manager and that we were screaming at her. None of which took place we were just trying to get the issue solved. We then pulled to the front and spoke with two nice young men that got our problem resolved. Your customers shouldn't be inconvenienced or penilized because the lady working the drive through cannot move customers through the line in a timely fashion. 45 minutes waiting in line is ridiculous just to still have to go inside and wait even longer to get food, especially when you have to get to work. Anyways for what it's worth the food was really good and thankfully not cold. The managers there...
Read moreDrive-thru this morning...6:45am. Ordered large Diet Coke, no ice. Order screen reads large Dr. Pepper. Advised that this was incorrect. Silence... "Please pull around". Get to window (after 5 minutes) and am handed a cup...with ice. Handed it back, stating "this should be a Diet Coke with no ice." After a few moment, she hands me another cup. I say "this is Diet Coke, right?" She says "yes". Pull around building with suspicion in my mind. Taste drink...........Dr. Pepper. Nice for someone with diabetes. I find it hard to believe that she could have not known that she had just lied to me after filling the cup only seconds before.
I'd give anything to have the old building back. There used to be people who seemed to care. Now, drive-thru orders often have to be repeated, seemingly because the cashiers really aren't paying attention. Drive-thru used to be a strong point for this location. Now, with two lanes, there's double the time commitment. Whoever thought that increasing the lanes while still using one delivery window was a good idea should be beaten with their own dismembered leg.
Inside, I've never seen so many people...moving so quickly...to accomplish so little. No smiles or gratitude for the business. Just zombie like people, bumping into each other while failing to accomplish simple tasks. The only redeeming quality appears to be the fact that the nearby competitors are even worse. Read moreExperienced the WORST customer service EVER at this location. We got our order & before pulling off we checked to make sure everything was there. It was short an item(no surprise there, that's exactly why we check now), but the real shock came when we told the young lady helping at the window that we were short an item. Her initial response was "are you sure?" so, I looked at my Wife and asked her if she was sure, to which she replied yes. Upon telling the young lady yes, I was sure, she then make a sucking her teeth sound and rolled her eyes and said ok with an obvious attitude. Moments later when she brought the missing item to the window I said Thank You. The only response I got from her was another eye roll. At this point I told her, when someone says thank you, you should say your welcome. Another eye roll.. I then asked to speak to a manager. Manager finally came to the window and listened to my complaint but didn't seem the least bit concerned. The manager told me the employee's name with the terrible customer service and blatant rudeness was Lee Asia (not how its spelled, i'm sure) This happened in the drive-thru on Friday 11/4 around 8pm. Never once had a problem with this location during the day but at night, it's a whole different story. Tim Bishop (Whitney Welsh), please do something about the terrible customer service at this location in the evenings, your Mechanicsville community deserves better.
