Micah's Coffee — Restaurant in Virginia

Updated review- I went here today May 2nd at about 12:10ish. There were two cars on the one side and my vehicle on other. There were 2 girls in the booth, a dark haired girl with bright tattoos and a blonde (I believe it may be same employee as my original review). The dark haired girl was doing her job trying to fill the orders quickly. The other woman was just standing there flirting and playing with the male customer at window (ex telling him she would go to work for him if he came and cleaned her house) and literally standing and getting in the way of employee trying to do her job. It made the wait for coffee take alot longer than it should have. Manager needs to explain work isn't the place for finding a boyfriend, thats something the employee needs to do on her own time.

I go here somewhat regularly, a couple times a week. I stopped in today March 28th somewhere between 11am and 12:20pm. There were two ladies working. The one was fine and sweet as usual during our transaction. The other girl I did not speak to, but I was shocked to see how unprofessionally she was dressed. She had on a completely see through blue and grey t-shirt. I could clearly see her bra and belly button through her shirt. For pants she was wearing painted on yoga pants that were also see-through. Her underwear were completely visible. Her oufit coupled with her heavy eyemakeup and the home-done tattoos on her forearm was very off putting. Owner should discuss appropriate work attire and makeup with her. Micahs is a coffee bar, not a nightclub. I didn't get a clear view of her name tag, but it was a chubby blonde woman with forearm tattoos dressed...

April 12, 2017 --10:15am +/-. Terrible service. I pulled into line, #3 in the line, no customers at opposite window. Soon after a customer does indeed drive up to the opposite window. The first car on my side leaves. Rather than serve the next car in line in front of me, the attendant serves the driver on the opposite side. That customer leaves with coffee. Then the car in front of me pulls up and is waited on. In the meantime another vehicle drives up on the opposite side. The car in front of me is served and leaves. Rather than take me as the next customer the attendant goes to the other side. At this point I drive away. I started in line as #3, but would have been #5 had I waited any longer. I went through the drive-through at the Micah’s in Stuarts Draft today (May 5th around noon), and I just had to leave a review. I’m the supervisor of a high-end café, so I really pay attention to both coffee quality and customer service—and this visit absolutely stood out.

The girl working the window was incredibly pleasant and welcoming. I didn’t catch her name, but she made such a positive impression with her kindness and professionalism. And the iced Americano she made? One of the best I’ve had in a long time. Smooth, balanced, and just really well done.
