I was first introduced to Nothing Bundt Cakes about a year and half ago. A friend brought one over for us all to have for dessert. We fell in love with the cake! It was beautiful to look at, so moist that it melted in our mouth and, so delicious! I ordered one later that year for Christmas and our family loved it as well! Iâve had a few different flavors since then and will admit that my favorite is one of their specialty flavors of peppermint chocolate chip. But, Iâm biased as I love peppermint as much as I love peanut butter (that was a specialty flavor as well). I was so excited when I learned that a Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery was opening in the Gaineville/Haymarket area so I donât have to venture to Fairfax anymore but then again, it may not be a good thing as I hope not to eat too many of them!
This bakery is beautiful on the inside, larger than others that I have been in, the staff is phenomenal and the owners are the bomb! Already helping with preorders before they were even open! I love the retail that they offer, especially for someone like me who loves to give cards...their card selection is awesome and well priced!
They are a much needed, welcomed addition to our area and know that many others will love this bakery and the staff as much as I do. I promise, you will NOT be disappointed! Stop in there after lunch and grab a bundlet, some bundtinis, or a Bundt cake. They also have an e-club you can join so you can receive their newsletters (like Admin Day and Motherâs Day are coming up soon!) and also get a free bundlet on your...
Read moreQuick update on our review: First, please keep the Key Lime Bundt cake. Now that I have had it, I do not see buying any other cake but this one. Soooo good. But also have some constructive feedback. During our visit my son asked if the gluten free Bundt cake was prepared in a dedicated oven and space to avoid cross contamination. His friend has a severe case of celiac and it is very important to ensure that there is no cross contamination. The response from the sales person was yes, they are prepared separately and was very confident that there could be no cross contamination. When we got home my son then read the label and it clearly states that it is not made in a gluten free environment. This certainly created too high of a risk. Very disappointed that we purchased the cake and he cannot give it as a gift. These are not cheap. Please train your sales reps so they do not give misleading information. Saw this place when we were going to lunch and decided to stop in after we ate and get some small cakes to take home. Was honestly thinking they would simply taste like a cupcake, but wow were we wrong. We truly loved these things. Perfect amount of very tasty icing on an incredibly tasting mini bundt cake. Not sure what they put in them to make them taste so good but they do it quite well. So an easy 5 stars. And very nice folks that work there. We will be back as lots of flavors to try. We had the chocolate, lemon, and red velvet so I can...
Read moreThis is my first time ordering from this location, and probably the last. I ordered some mini bundtinis for a co-workerâs farewell party, and when I opened the box, this is what they looked like. Ironically, I also had some Crumbl cookies I picked up and carefully carried at the same time, and those were perfectly fine.
I did get a refund and wouldâve given a higher rating if the lady I spoke to on the phone didnât talk to me in such a fake-nice condescending tone. She made it seem like my only option was to get a replacement box now (too late, the main party guest already left) or later (why? So the same scenario can repeat?) until I asked if I could just get a refund. She also said that the company spent money to improve the boxing so them getting moved around like that is ânear impossibleâ implying it was me. I was 100% careful in carrying the box, and I wish they had shown me the contents as I was picking it up just to make sure everything was ok.
Just looking at this picture is making me depressed because it reminds me of how no one wanted to even touch them because they looked tampered with. Luckily I still had the Crumbl cookies which were a hit. Iâm sure the cakes here taste as well as the other locations, but just be careful if youâre picking...
