Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Virginia

I've been ordering from this pizza hut for yrs and never had a single issue until today now that they partnered with door dash in the morning/mid afternoon as they don't have their own driver. unfortunately the door dash driver was rude and did not follow simple instructions, and left my food outside my yard gate on the ground. When he was GIVEN "specific" instructions by me and Jason pizza hut general manager. This caused confusion and inconvenience as my son searched for our food.

Thankfully, when i called the store the general manager Jason stepped in and completely turned the situation around. His customer service was exceptional he went above and beyond to make things right. After I found my order outside my yard gate he had a new one made fresh and ensured it was delivered properly. Jason was professional, efficient, kind and truly cared about resolving the issue.

Even though the experience with door dash was frustrating Jason's quick response and outstanding service turned a bad situation into a great one. He Definitely deserves recognition for the way he handles his role. 5 STARS FOR JASON THE...

I should have checked yelp and Google reviews prior to placing my order with this Pizza Hut location, because my issue seems to be a trend. I live right around the corner from this location, and placed an order for boneless chicken wings-- not exactly a gourmet meal--at 3:00pm. My order was delivered at 4:15pm. Ridiculous!

The delivery time was frustrating enough, but the lack of customer service blew me away. First, after waiting for an hour, I called to inquire about where my food was. I dealt with a Pizza Hut associate that was truly incompetent. She couldn't tell me when my order was expected to be delivered or when the driver left. So, I asked her to call the delivery driver. She supposedly calls him, but he doesn't pick up. I just kept thinking that I was dealing with a delivery business that just started yesterday, but this is Pizza Hut...a well established business.

Then, I asked to speak to the manager. He was slightly more competent than the associate, and provided me with the information I needed. He was only slightly apologetic though. Now that I see these reviews, I understand why....

This is the worst Pizza Hut I have ever dealt with. I ordered my pizza online at 9:29pm and at 10:24pm I checked the tracker and it said my order was delivered at 10:05pm. Needless to say that was a lie because I hadn't received anything. I called the location and asked where my order was at and the guy put me on hold to see what happened. When he came back to the phone, he said he would have it sent to me and when I asked what happened he said he didn't know and my order was still there. I told him I didn't want any cold food and he said ok and he would have them to remake it. At that point, I didn't even want to deal with them anymore and asked for a refund. He said he was a manager and his name was Franklin but I didn't believe him because he had to think about what his name was before he told me. After he done my refund, I told him it wasn't showing up and his response was that it will show up eventually. I have never dealt with such...
