From the moment I walked in the restaurant I could tell it was going to be a bad experience. My husband and I came in and all associates were just sitting around. No one greeted us when we walked in instead they gave us side eyes and a black girl walked up to the register as if we were bothering her. While we were waiting for our smoothies, a white woman walked in to place her order. The mixed girl who was at the the register was not paying attention while the lady placed her order so the lady had to repeat herself. The girl was also not wearing a mask so, the woman asked her if she could put one on because of the spike in Covid cases, the delta variant, and the fact that she has a 2 YO at home who cannot get the vaccine. The girl continues by saying she was vaccinated and the company says she doesn’t have to wear one then she proceeds to ask someone else to make the woman’s smoothie. Mind you, the mixed girl was the ONLY one not wearing a mask in the entire restaurant. As the woman and the associate were having the conversation, one of the associate’s friend decided to chime in by making jokes and antagonizing the woman. Excellent customer service brings in business. The associates seemed like they didn’t not want to work, the customers were inconveniencing them, and they carried on in conversation using profanity as if it was appropriate to have these conversations at work. Read moreThe owner Abraham and the manager kaylene are horrible! I go in and order lunch came out to $20 and change. I wanted to scan my app to get the points but I didn't want to use my credit card link to it so the lady said go ahead because it won't charge the credit card. I scanned the app and of course it charges my credit card instantly. So now I have a $32 overdraft fee on top of a $20 lunch. 3 weeks later which is today I go in there to order lunch with a gift card sent from corporate and the card doesn't work. The owner is called by the manager after she denied to give me his phone number or contact email. He tells me it's not his fault and there's nothing he can do. All he did was tell his manager to get my contact information to send it to corporate. I called the corporate number twice while I was there the lady on the phone was very nice and helped me out for what she could do. She told me she will contact me and let me know what will happen hopefully it gets resolved soon. The food came back fine, but the same drink orders I get from other locations come back great, and the ones here don't everytime I've come. I didnt leave any bad reviews in the past, but I am today, cuz I'm not coming to this location anymore. I only stopped here because I was driving towards DC. But I'll stick to my local stores. They know how to do a smoothie right. My smoothie today was more like an icey or slushy than a smoothie. No flavor. Even when I say no sugar, it's still smooth and full. Had them redo my smoothie.
