I placed an online order for pick up. At the specified time for pickup not only was it not ready but it was not started. Now a wait that was not planned for happens. There was no offer to check to see if there order was correct everything was just shoved in the general direction of the exit. When getting back to the house it was discovered that not all of our order was included. That was on us. We should have checked before ever leaving the store. If you use the app to call... And you select option 3 on the line for concerns about your order and you think you are contacting the store you ordered from... You're not. I was routed to some place in Pittsburgh. The person I was talking to though nice enough was hard to understand as they were eating or chewing gum. They said on getting back to the store what was missing would be ready. Ok no problem right. After all that's all we wanted.. well that was not to be... Not only on getting back to the store did they not have it ready but they were upset that we asked about our missing items. Another wait was involved. By the time we got everything and back to the house and did get to eat the first half was cold. I understand is a new store. They are probably working out staffing issues, they may be in the process of training people. Or the excused it was Sunday during the holidays and football season could be proffered. And it all may be true. But it all left us thinking this is why the stand alone closed. And the Hut is out pizza-ed in customer service and technology by other chains everyday of the week and twice on Sundays. Read moreOrdered pizza on my way home from work for pickup. Got there the order was in the process of cooking, the lady who was working both the front and back assured me it would be done soon. There was another employee I had passed on the way in who was heading out to the front of the store to smoke a ciggarette, looked at me coming in and proceeded to head out anyway. The one who actually acknowledged me looked flustered. The back area reflected that as well.
Got home and the food was ok, the problem is around an hour in a half later my husband, kids and myself all got really sick. Mine started off as nausea and proceeded to throwing up consistently by the end of the night and throughout. My husband and daughter threw up once but had other “bathroom” situations throughout the night leading into today. My son also was throwing up throughout the night and had a pretty bad upset stomach into today. I woke up this morning feeling extremely nauseous with an upset stomach most of the day as well. I got a message that the driver couldn't find my apartment location, and I was given a number to call, and the message said that it belonged to the doordasher. I called 2x no answer. I texted, no answer. I called the store 4x no answer. I tried the dasher again call and text no answer. I called the store 3 more time before I said F it and drove to the store to explain what happened. When I got there there was another customer leaving and he had the EXACT SAME ISSUE. The ONLY reason the service gets 2 stars is because they gave us a refund without issue. Last time I ordered the app didn't save my address and it changed my delivery order to carryout.
