A large group of us went on a Saturday night recently… The staff and food were both excellent! They have wine and it’s very reasonably priced. Their food might seem a little bit pricey, but it really is made of fresh, nice ingredients. Their menu is loaded with all the Italian specialties and pizza you’d expect. They also have some nice Greek specialties too. Their chicken parmesan was excellent! The breading was light and perfect! Their red sauce was very nice too. Overall, definitely enjoyed everything about the visit and would look forward to returning!

The food is ok. The Greek salad is ok. The primo pizza had good flavors. I like my pizza a little well done with a crispy crust. This was a little soft for my liking. The service is spot on very attentive. Not much of an atmosphere. Casual dining. Bench seat to table wax very tight. Not much room. They cater to bus loads of tourists to the DC metro area who are in a room in the back of the resturant. This does not affect service for regular diners.

We had been walking our dog at the nearby Dykes Marsh Nature Preserve and happened to find this gem. It has 2 outdoor tables that I don't think guests regularly dine at, but they happily accommodated us without question. We were able to dine alfresco with our dog which was great. They even brought out some bacon for the dog. The food for the humans was also excellent!!

I tasted their food for the first time yesterday and must say it is pretty good. I tried the Greek gyro which was tasty and plentiful. I also ordered an Italian dish and chicken tenders for kids. I did not get to try their dine-in option, but the restaurant looked like a simple family owned Greek style restaurant.

Issues I had that made me leave 3 stars rather than 4 stars are the pricing on some dishes are very expensive for a carry-out style restaurant in the area. There are several competitors in the area such as Pisanos or Pizza Bolis that have similar tasty dishes but cheaper. Not a big deal if you don't mind paying the premium, but i did not notice a difference in premium food versus the food from some other Italian restaurants with take-out options. Last, the packaging did not make sense was was the biggest disappointment. The salad was pre-dressed already making it soggy once I got home and ate it later. They should consider giving you dressing on the side like most take-out establishments. Also, the Greek Gyro platter was stuffed in one box (Lamb, pita, yogurt sauce, salad, fries) making the fries soggy and wet and a waste of food as I had to throw it away.

Food is good, just beware of prices and how the food may be packaged. Asked that your salad dressing is placed on the side and fries are placed in a...
