What an experience…. I just move to Va and it was my First time here. As I walked to the front desk no one acknowledged me not even a help, how can I help you. They kept up their conversation with the friend standing near by. Then went to the back like I was never standing there. I was so confused. Mind you I placed and online order for pickup that said it would be ready by 7:55pm I got there by 8:27pm. At this point I’ve stood there with no one acknowledging my presence for about 7 to 8minutes. I Finally noticed they had a bell to ring and I rang it . No on comes out. I rang it again and again. 5 more minutes goes by before she comes out. At this point am furious and asking about my order. She said she hasn’t seen one come through and that it was almost closing time. Goes to the back come out 15min later with someone else order and another girl comes out with oil splash all over her shirt and finally helps me. But of course that took another 20 for me to actually get my food. No apologies, no customer service, no empathy or sympathy. For an order that I was supposed to pick at 7:55pm I finally got it at 9 something and not one person offered me an apology or a seat while I wait. Every other customer in there looked like oh yeah this is their usual attitude. Horrible service and I have no appetite to even try the food at this point. All the excitement and joy I had left my body before I left that place. Never Going back there again. Sorry...

This is my second time having a bad experience from this restaurant the first time I did not order because I didn’t like the customer service from the main the main seem like they look down on women also I am a authority figure in my career so I go there with my uniform on I don’t think these men like that that’s just my personal opinion. However today I order food from here from Uber to pick up I ordered Joloff with goat they gave me beef. I even called so make sure that they had goats because I have allergic reactions to beef before they told me I did not pay for goats I said I paid online they said oh OK that time they could’ve just said you have to pay extra the app will not allow you to pay the difference you don’t just take it upon yourself to give me beef what type of establishment are you wanting I guess if it was a white person it would be OK but because they feel like I am poor like them they give me anything I am going to forever right post about this restaurant and take whatever precautions I need to have them shut down even the best that they gave me is very dry it out and obviously from...

This was my second time eating from here because my first experience with the food was fine. I ordered two different items and one appetizer. The presentation was horrible, I mean down to the way the fufu was wrapped. The stew/sauce I ordered was incorrect (always check your food before you walk out). The food tasted old and the meat/fish looked and tasted old/dried out. The Jellof Rice was tasteless and the supposedly Egusi soup tasted burnt and just disgusting. Lastly, I ordered fried plantains- it was not the best tasting, mushy and was thrown on top of my rice which I didn't ask for.

I am not expecting a refund back after such an experience but they definitely lost a loyal customer. I traveled from DC to eat here but never, ever again. I would suggest that you get someone with a little bit more customer service at the register. Keep the dining area clean and free of trash. And, leftover dishes from customer cleaned up right away not sitting for everyone to see when walking in.
