So much better than I was expecting! Ordered takeout, and my food was ready and wrapped within 15 minutes. Each entree was $13-$14, and can easily feed two. These guys deserve your business! I stick with the basics when I try a new place, and each one was more complex than I've had in a long time. Their chef knows his stuff!
Chicken Tikka Masala - This was so good I called the restaurant back and let them know. I love chicken tikka masala, but it can be a bit sweet and one-dimensional at times. This was, bar none, the best I've had in years, and completely unique from every other place I've had it. All the usual ingredients are there, but there's something about how they spice it that just makes the tomatoes taste amazing! Chicken was tender and easy to cut with a fork, rice on the side is more like what you'd expect with a biryani, but not complaining at all- it was complex and aromatic. Pretty sure it's allspice, clove, cardamom, and cumin. Butter Chicken - More heat than I'm used to, but that was a pleasant surprise. Definitely worth it, think there may have been some ginger in there too, I'd love to try their standard chicken curry next time, as this seemed more like a curry than a butter chicken, but I'm not an authority by any means, just going off of past experience. Chicken Tenders Kid's Meal - My daughter is a big tenders fan, and she loved them! She could tell they were homemade, not frozen in a bag. I tried one and agreed! Vegetable Samosa - Really good, but more heat than you are probably used to. Not complaining at all, I didn't feel it was excessive, but be warned. Garlic Naan/Regular Naan - Perfectly cooked very tasty, but not as charred as to be expected at a more established spot with a full tandoor. No complaints, they do fantastic with what they have. Mango Lassi - Blended fresh, not out of a...
Read moreMy husband and I had the pleasure of ordering take out from Tandoori Kebob & Grill twice and we were thoroughly impressed both times. This place is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a clean, friendly, and traditional dining experience. The restaurant was clean and had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and accommodating. One tip I would recommend is to order ahead of time to avoid any potential wait times.
On our first visit, we tried the lamb chops and butter chicken which were both delicious. The lamb chops had a little too much salt for our taste but when paired with the rice, it balanced out nicely. The salad was absolutely on point and a definite 5/5. The bread was a bit too thick but it was still very tasty and deserving of a 5/5 rating. The butter chicken was authentic and incredibly flavorful. The chickpeas tasted great but could use less oil, so I would give them a 4.5/5 rating.
During our second visit, we ordered the lamb chops again and they were cooked to perfection - definitely a 5/5 rating. The bread had improved since our last visit, it was not as thick and just as delicious, deserving of another 5/5 rating.
Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and traditional dining experience. Their dishes are full of flavor and their staff is top-notch. Don't forget to order ahead of time to ensure a...
Read moreI just left this restaurant, and before I can even describe about how the food was I can’t even contemplate how bad the service was, I have never came across a more arrogant and rude person in my life he was a little man working at the front taking the orders who was more then happy to take the order and my money and spoke fluent English, but after that he couldn’t understand a word of it once evrything was going wrong. then went missing out the back for as good as an hour to cook the food as he was working on he’s own which I did not know , I was with my mum and 2 children and our food came out 1 by 1 every 15 miniuts after the hour from the first dish and evrytime we would try and catch him while he was giving the food to us we were trying to ask him for plates , he would then mumble food burning food burning and run bak into kitchen as soon as a new customer came in and rung the bell he came rushing out of the kitchen for new custom. we were just left astonished anyway there was a lot more to that and then the food itself was wrong he then decided to serve a chicken tikka masala as a butter chicken and thought we were idiots like we have never had Indian or assistant food before, I could go on on but just too add to that my mums food came out after hour and half in a takeaway bag 😂 when we’re pacifically dining in she was left eating our drive and drabs...
