This is the worst experience I've had at a restaurant in a very long time. The staff is incompetent and inefficient; and as if that was not enough, some of it is even reluctant to help you. I gave this Red Robin location a 3rd chance to provide me the food that I so much love, which consists of my gourmet burgers, sweet potato fries, and honey mustard sauce, and again, they failed, but they even decided to fail worse than every other time before. My food was not ready on time, the host refused to take my payment, the lady who brought me the food did not pack it, she was unable to apply the $10.00 credit that I got as a Royalty Reward member, she charged me the full price, she did not even ask what my Royalty Reward number was until after she mistakenly charged me the full price, the manager got there to delay me even more because she could not refund the money and was as lost as her trainee, and in the end, I wasted about 30 minutes picking up food that should have been ready whem I got there. Disgraceful, shameful, absurd. I've seen more efficiency in neighborhood establishments of third-world countries that are run by people who very likely did not finish elementary school. What a waste of my time! The $10.00 credit I got meant nothing because the time I wasted, financially speaking, exceeds its value. Not to mention the emotional impact of such a stressful experience in the face of such incompetence and carelessness. This is my last time at a Red Robin. If people order on the phone, it is because they do not have time to waste. Is it so hard to have the food ready on time? Is it too much to ask that I want to walk in, pay, grab my food, and leave? Should I have to tell the staff to put napkins in the bag? Should I have to see that they grab every single item and place it inside the bag when that should be ready by the moment I walk in? In 4 visits, the restaurant has not been able to satisfy one customer, in two locations, that is. Totally absurd. I'll take my business somewhere else. I eat 5 or 6 times a day and I purchase every meal on the road; I am an athlete and I invest heavily in my nutrition. However, Red Robin has just failed to make my list of daily food providers. Five Guys will be a great replacement for burgers. They have my food hot and ready on time even though their establishments are much less fancy; it's not about the building, but about what kind of team you have and what kind of operation they run. My friends and family will hear about this as...
Read moreUse to go to this Red Robin a lot! It was always busy but we never had to wait long and I enjoyed their food. I liked the fact that the Red Robin burgers were wrapped in those paper sleeves and loved the amount of fries they gave me. Always felt like I was getting just enough to take care of my hunger. Now most Red Robins use those weird narrow plates and the fries come in those metal containers (that all restaurants seem to be using now). Not sure why they use those metal baskets/boxes anyway - I just end up turning them over to get pour out the fries so I can get at the last few. Now a days I could eat at a Red Robin and have the same experience as eating at a Chili's or TGI Friday's. Also, I never seem to get enough fries with those tiny containers. Addition - 6/9/2020 I ordered from Red Robin, via DoorDash, because I had free delivery. I ordered a Crispy Chicken sandwich with steak fries and five Fudged-Filled Chocolate Chip Cookies. The order was delivered just minutes within the suggested time of delivery. Which is good - not late. The driver DID seem more interested in his phone than me. But that's not Red Robin's fault. The Crispy Chicken traveled well and they REALLY loaded up on the fries. I think I had more fries in the delivery order than I normally get when I dine-in at a Red Robin now-a-days. And the five cookies were not mini-cookies, or small cookies, they were large cookies. And they sent me forks, napkins, ketchup, the works. The sandwich was GREAT, the fries were GREAT, and the cookies were AMAZING. I don't know how they make them but they were worth ordering. The whole order was pretty good. I have to push the four star rating to a five star just for...
Read moreIf I could give no stars I would! Yesterday I went to the location in Falls church VA. I had a terrible experience! The waiter was wonderful but the food was terrible! I got the ghost pepper burger and specified no fresh jalapeños but I did want the fried ones. That's the only reason I got the burger cause I love fried jalapeños. The burger I got had about 2.5 inches in length worth of lettuce, and NO fried jalapeños. I complained and was brought a small black cup of cold fried "jalapeños" I was hungry so said screw it. Put them on the burger and took a bite. Between tending to my one year old and feeding her, and eating I kept tasting something sweet. About 3/4 into the burger I noticed something bright red when I looked down. When I pulled it out I realized it was my "fried jalapeños" I was given. They were actually just coined RED SWEET PEPPERS! Battered and barely fried at that. I asked to speak with the kitchen manager and find out why this burger was so messed up and what in the world was I given!? She told me they come pre battered and fried and they just flash fry them, and she will have someone check the bag they came in to find out why I had been served red peppers. I even showed her evidence of what I had been given and told her I knew it was a sweet pepper cause I cook daily at my home! Very disappointed in the food. I have tried to go back to this location about 3 other times and every time the wait staff is great but the food just falls way under for me. Definitely do not plan...
