Sake Thai & Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Virginia

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sake Thai & Sushi Bar in Stafford, VA, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From start to finish, everything was perfect, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves delicious food and outstanding service.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and inviting, with beautiful decor and a warm, friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The menu is extensive and offers a wide variety of Thai and Japanese dishes, as well as a fantastic selection of sushi. But the real standout for me was the Mango Tango sushi roll - it was simply amazing, so delicious you'll cry your own tears. The combination of fresh, juicy mango with tender crab and creamy avocado was a taste sensation that I'll never forget.

But it wasn't just the Mango Tango that made this dining experience so memorable. Every dish that I tried was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor, and the service was exceptional. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations, and the entire staff was attentive and friendly throughout our meal.

Overall, I cannot recommend Sake Thai & Sushi Bar highly enough. Whether you're a sushi lover, a fan of Thai cuisine, or just looking for a great place to enjoy a delicious meal, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. 5 stars...

Sake never disappoints! I love everything we have ordered from here. From Panang, pho, to teriyaki, it is all perfectly cooked and spiced to your own preference. This is my favorite local (I live 20 miles south) Asian fusion restaurant!

Update: two years later and I still love this place. Best in the area from Stafford to Spotsy. The crab ragoon purses are crispy, perfect little pouches of deliciousness. The sushi is exceptional and the fish is so fresh , it nearly melts in your mouth. The pho is enough for two days and the broth is very yummy. The service is always spot on! The veggies, in the Panang, are perfectly cooked and the suace is the best I have ever had. The teriyaki is tender and perfectly sweet.

Minor possible things I suggest: It has gotten pricey, but then again, what hasn't.

I took my leftover pho home and their takeout container leaked all over the bag and our leftover sushi. Next time I will ask for a separate bag for the pho since the container is not leakproof. In retrospect, our waiter did offer a separate bag for the pho, but he didn't tell me the container may not be leakproof.

The sweetened teas are super sweet, and I love sweet teas, but they are too sweet for us. They will do half sweet and half unsweetened, which...

Service has gotten terrible here... Walked in on a Friday night and stood by the hostess stand for over 5 minutes without being acknowledged even though servers/employees were walking by. I finally stopped someone to ask if the restaurant had changed to open seating and was rudely told that two employees had not come to work, they were overrun with customers, and there were no tables. I looked around the restaurant and there were 2 booths empty and bussed. While looking around I saw a female server sitting in the corner of the restaurant playing on her phone. I tried to stop the server to ask how long the wait would be and before I could speak he told me to go wait by the door. We left after that- had a great time and amazing service at another sushi place in the same shopping complex.
