I love me some Sonic... but with that being said, here lately I haven't been at all satisfied with the food I've ordered or the extremely long wait! I'm waiting in line a good 10min before I get my food and that's when there's nobody else in line and maybe 1 or 2 other cars on the those little side spots! The last time I went, I knew I was going to submit a review so I timed how long I had to wait... 12min and thats with only 1 other car ahead of me! And Im not sure who usually works the window, but there's a problem with them not giving back all my change. It happens every time! I've even been asked several times if I want my change... I give you a $20 bill and the total is $7 and change... ummm yea, I want my change! I always get the same thing bc I like what I like and Im not trying to get something new and run the risk of not liking it when Im starvin' like Marvin! I get me my little 3pc crispy chicken tenders and my little small order of mozzarella sticks and they are usually so good and really hit the spot but the past 3 times Ive been there, my 3pc might as well have been a 1pc bc the chicken tenders were so hard and I guess burnt is the way to describe it, maybe. I thought I was literally going to break my tooth every time I tried to take a bite. That's not cool! And sometimes, they're so small, they look more like a chicken nugget, than a chicken tender!! Its not like yall got the cheapest tenders around either! I gotta pay $7.77 every time and if Im real hungry and go for the 5pc, I gotta pay $9 and some change... for some tenders and mozzarella sticks!! If I end up throwing most of it in the trash bc I cant eat it, thats money wasted and I don't know about some people, but Im not made of money and I live paycheck to paycheck so I have to spend my money where Im going to get the most value for it. I really hope yall take this into consideration and maybe figure out whats going on, bc I do love to eat there but if things continue this way, I'll have to go elsewhere. That may not mean a lot to yall but if Im unhappy with the service, chances are Im not the only one, which will lead to even more customers going elsewhere and we don't wanna do that. If we keep coming back and giving yall chances, that means we enjoy your establishment. All we ask is that we get what we pay for, that it tastes good and its received in a timely manner! Thanks...
Read moreWent to sonic this evening to get dinner on the way home for my family. They took minimal time to answer and gather our order but took awhile to get our food car hopped to the car. Even after it said the waitress was on the way, it still took several minutes. I get the place is short staffed so we wait. The lady comes out with our food, gives our food and then I proceed to give her a 25 dollar giftcard and cash for the remaining balance and she says they can't take 2 types of payment as their register can't allow it. This baffles me as iv been to many places and they all apply the gift card amount and then you can pay cash/card the remaining amount. I press and inquire why and she says her register can't do it and didn't have a sufficient answer. By this point of going back and forth, my kids in the back are tired of waiting and antsy...me and my husband are frustrated so we pay in cash and I told her I would follow up with her manager. Got home and to add insult to injury our order was missing things. I called the place to talk to a manager and it just kept ringing and when prompted for the vociemail...I was unable to, it was full. I then read the reviews on here and see where there is a number to call...I called and talked to a lady who asked for information...she couldn't help or rectify the situation so she said she would pass along my information for a callback from the site manager. Read moreMy experience today was AWWWWFUL! I ordered 2 of the $2.99 double quarter pounders with cheese and medium tots and it was the worst that we've EVER had there. The buns felt cold like they just came out of the refrigerator, the cheese wasn't melted, it was the size of single, and was cold. Only the center of the burgers were warm, and the potato tots were super salty, greasy, and cold. They tasted as if they had been sitting out all day waiting to be used. I asked for napkins and ketchup and of course we only get 3 small packets of ketchup for 2 meals, 1 mint, and they were stingy with the napkins. On top of that, the hopper didn't give me a receipt. Within 10minutes of finishing eating (and we only ate it because we were hungry) I started to feel nauseous. I don't regurgitate, so you know something's wrong when I feel that way. I also took noticed that my tongue had a burning/ tingly feeling from the salty tots. When I mentioned it to my bestfriend, she said that hers did as well.
We don't plan on going back to that Mechanicsville, VA location anytime soon. The sad thing is that we've eaten there numerous times and no issues beside them being very stingy with the ketchup and napkins. BUT THIS HAD LEFT A BAD TASTE...
