Subway — Restaurant in Virginia

This location has store hours of 7:00am-10:00pm Monday - Friday. Last night (Tuesday) i arrived to this location at 9:37pm, the man working turned off the open sign and a minute before i went to the door he shut of the lights (during business hours). I went up to the door and he had already locked it so i knocked, he did a hand gesture that meant “no” and then walked over to the door. The gentleman then came to the door and said “yes?” I explained that his business hours were until 10:00pm and he came up with an excuse that “boss said to close early because it’s dark outside”. I’m not sure about you but id agree that it gets dark outside everynight, this was nothing but an act of laziness. Ordered food before subway closed and paid for it. Showed up at 8 pm even though they close at 9 pm. All doors were closed. I see my sandwich ready but I can’t get to it. Horrendous and drove 15 min for this. Negative rating. Reaching out to corporate tomorrow they should have their franchise taken away with this horrible customer service. Talked to the neighbor not the first time and not the last time I bet. Brand has tanked in general. This is absolutely my favorite Subway location. This franchise owned location is the cleanest, most organized and most accommodating Subway restaurant I have visited. The bread and food items are always fresh and neatly presented. The team is inspired to serve and accommodate patrons at this location. No I am not related to anyone at this location and this is just my opinion after dining here about 10 times in the past 2 years.
