My first time using the app, the app malfunctioned and sent my order to this location ( a common issue I’ve noticed since doing research ) this location is not within my locale. I went to the location I always visit expecting my order. I shortly figured out the situation, ordered from my location and called this store to explain the issue and cancel the order. The manager refused to cancel or refund the order. The manager stated that they do not offer refunds or cancellations after the food has been prepared. I also asked if a customer is not satisfied with the order, would the business then offer a refund (just to better understand their customer service) the manager (swia) states under no conditions would a refund be offered if the food has been prepared. She refused to provide me with corporates contact number and told me to look it up for myself. She was very rude and showed no willingness to help. An employee offered a credit and then the manager stated the employee didn’t confirm with her and no credit would be issued. No food , no assistance and no empathy. Read moreSo, I get mistakes happen, but sometimes it isn't acceptable. My wife went to get my son a smoothie. It was simple, "strawberries only, no banana. He is allergic to banana." The young lady made it with banana. When she brought this to the young lady's attention, her response was unnecessarily defensive/dismissive. She said she couldn't hear her through her mask and yada-yada-yada. ((The whole exchange was strange and the young lady gave off a vibe like she was high as a kite.))
So if someone is allergic or you didn't hear them, why would you make the order in the first place? That could be a potentially fatal mistake and isn't something to dismiss. People who get argumentative over these types of things should NOT be around food.
The other times I've been to this location the staff were great. They never had issues understanding my wife or me. Made sure to clean their prep area to be careful of my son's allergy. Had 69 dollars in cash on me. Sent the girls in with a 50 dollar bill for an order totaling $36.46. The young man working the register refused service said they don't accept 50s. They didn't mention that on the phone when the order was placed and there was no sign at the register stating that. I asked for the manager he said he was the manager then a woman came up claiming she was the manager. I explained he lied about being the manager and that I only had cash on me to purchase my order and no one nor any sign at their store stated they couldn't accept cash or 50s prior to me coming to get my order.
