I had a job interview with some lady I think her name Shelly, my interview was at 3:30pm 3/26/2018. At 3:11I told her I was calling to reschedule, she paused on the phone for 5 min's until I said I was on the interstate 20 minutes away, so she then asked " well why you can't make it", then I said traffic. So she's like I should have known that any way then she paused again for 3 minutes an said thank you ready to hang up but I hung up before she could. It won't too much of what she said it was her voice sounding all ghetto an pausing being shy as if I am giving the interview. Smh. The first time I gave them the call back she picked up all ghetto until she heard my voice then she switched hers a little bit. A lot of waffle house's are ghetto this interview I didn't think was suppose to be for glen side but for staples mill rd. Glad I didn't make it on time an would have worked there I assume ghettoness and drama, I guess I would have been teaching people how to be professional an have moral's. I just changed my mind on the waffle house sec part time job. People need to leave the ghetto yeaaa yeaaa ya yo voice in the ghetto field. She tried to sound very degrading and cold which didn't bother me but never again. I don't even want the food from waffle house now, I'll...
Read moreThis was my first visit to this location, and unfortunately, it was disappointing. The waffles were undercooked despite a wait time of approximately 15-20 minutes (felt longer but I don’t want to be dishonest with my assumption) and they were delivered before the rest of our meal, a first for me at any Waffle House.
The grits arrived cold and were left untouched. To make matters worse, several customers who arrived after us were served before we were. The floor where we were seated was slippery, adding to the discomfort.
Our server never checked on us throughout the entire meal, and we had to get up to request to-go bowls and ask for the check. I also requested cheddar cheese in my eggs but received American instead—an obvious difference that should have been addressed.
While the bacon, sausage, and toast were fine, the overall experience was subpar. In hindsight, I wish I had made breakfast at home. This was unlike any other Waffle House experience I’ve had.
And I want to edit to say I saw them pick one of those dish racks right off the floor and insert “clean dishes” that they hand washed, I’m never...
Read moreHorrible! Quality of service very lacking. I seated myself, waitress said she'd be right with me. Okay no problem. 5 minutes later she came tothe booth abd asked what I wanted. I told her I didn't know since I hadn't seen a menu. She did promptly provide one. Quality of food gone downhill. Eggs & cheese used to be with 3 eggs. Now only 1. I asked for a side of HB's scattered, covered, and smothered, nothing smothered, no cheese on the egg, when I mentioned to the waitress about lack of cheese, she said I said no cheese. I had to remind her I ordered the eggs & cheese platter! And that I turned down the offer of cheese in the grits that comes with platter. I then showed her there were no onions in HB's. I never get cheese on grits here in the south. ( only up north in OH where the grits are lumpy.) 'Cause people in the south know how to make grits smooth and creamy. (That exact phrase is on the menu) nope! Not any more. Lumpy and cold. Yuk! The raisn toast has shrunk in size by about a third. I won't be...
