I always go to this particular Waffle House, as their are 2 locations very close to each on Williamsburg Rd. I chose this one because it’s always been clean and the staff is USUALLY PROFESSIONAL. THIS PARTICULAR EXPERIENCE TODAY, has severed my business with this and any other Waffle House. I work for a car Dealership that is close to this location. In stopping by to get my usual “Allstar” breakfast, with double hash, scattered covered smothered, the Manager on Duty decides she wants to do something on the register, stopping the waitress from taking my order. I then stated that I had to be to work. She then moved over, so that the waitress could complete my order. After all was paid, I received my order and proceeded to work. Roughly 5 minutes away. I get to work, open my container, and my order is NOT CORRECT. I was charged for cheese x2, onions, and whatever extra charges they slap on your ticket, and none of that was on, in my food. I returned to Waffle House to complain of my food not being prepared correctly, and the fact that I had to return, after already waiting while I was there. I asked for the Manager as I approached the counter. 3 waitresses told this Lady that a customer needed her, and she continued on as if I was not there. She has long dark hair, Caucasian lady. After standing there for 10 minutes, she Then acknowledges me. I stated to her the Error made, and my frustration of having to return. This unprofessional lady tells me WITH AN ATTITUDE, that if I be nice, then she will be nice to me! Excuse me! She is frustrated that I AM FRUSTRATED? Not only was she rude, she instructed her cook to give me some old hash browns, soggy and mushy, my eggs were cold as ice, and waffle was partially cooked! I would like to speak with the Head of this Franchise location. I will...
Read moreI ordered a chicken sandwich with bacon no cheese lettuce tomato and grilled onions and a double order of hash browns smothered and chunked(grilled onions and ham) My husband ordered the all star special which includes 2 eggs waffle choice of meat, hashbrowns or grits and choice of bread and a waffle. I told the waitress no cheese on the sandwich. She said, do you want the other items that come on it such as the lettuce, tomato and onion. My response was yes. She then asked me if I wanted the onions, raw or grilled I said grilled. My order was up first, the waitress handed me the chicken Sandwich and told me that my onions would be coming soon. I said, where is my bacon she said oh and she took the plate back, but when she came back with the plate. I Told her to keep the plate of food until the onions were ready. I didn’t ask for a side of onions. It was supposed to be on the chicken sandwich. I said that is insane. Why would you not put the onions on the sandwich at the same time you are preparing the sandwich. They my husbands plate came out and it was missing bacon and the waffle. She said the bacon and waffle would be right up. I’m like what is going on? My husband is like babe, babe, it’s ok. No it’s not ok. As I am asking why this is happening She told me that the food doesn’t always come out at the same time and To read the signs. The plate that you see was eaten and neither the bacon nor the waffle had come out yet. Very disappointed. I have been to a lot of waffle houses but I have never seen this before. If you come to this WH just be aware that all your food may not come out on time because it says so on the sign. You may order bacon, eggs and a waffle. You may just get your eggs before your...
Read moreWalked in and sat directly beside the cash register. 2 waitresses were working and did not acknowledge that I sat down right in front of them as they were both at the register complaining about pens they lose. Then a friend of one of the cooks walks in and up to the register to order his food to go. They take his order and get it started and still have not acknowledged I was sitting directly beside the register. The two waitress and picking up a pen that fell under the work station beside the grill and one of the cooks is now directly outside the front door smoking a cigarette with his friend getting the to go food. 7 mins has gone by without being acknowledged which might not seem long but when you're on an hour lunch break and 2 waitresses haven't made eye contact, it's ridiculous. One waitress has now come back to the register to ring up another customer and still never said hello or taken my drink order. I sit there for 10 mins and get up and walk out with still no acknowledgment aside from a couple people at the bar that shoot their head in amazement that someone sat for 10 mins at a waffle house and wasn't helped. Went 50 yards down the road to Ma & Pa's diner and got my food quicker than the amount of time I sat at waffle house...
