came in around 6PM on a Wednesday; first time at this location but despite reviews I was in the area and thought I'd give it a shot, so I placed my order and drove on over. first thing I noticed was how stupidly the parking lot was designed, if you're trying to come from target/panera; there's only one entrance, that looks like it leads only to famous Dave's, next door, so I had to circle back around. second thing I noticed upon parking and getting out was how new it still looks (a grand opening framed photo inside indicates June of 2023). thirdly, the temperature was unacceptably warm, but it wasn't immediately clear whether it was an ac issue or just the franchisee trying to save some on cooling costs. I did not ask..
anyway, upon reaching the counter, the cashier took two or three in-store orders before asking if I was picking up, which wasn't a huge deal, other than that the person announcing orders announced one and DIDN'T ask me if I was picking up, which was weird because it wasn't what one would expect, when you walk into a Wendy's and go straight to "pick up order here" screen and stand under it, but I digress. order was pretty prompt after that, and the correctly did give me unsalted fries. however, they were definitely not crispy, and indeed a bit soggy. not a huge deal for me because I was just starving, but, notably under-par (I did not attempt to ask to have them remade). the chili cheese fries were a generous portion however, and nice and hot. the nuggets were not spicy like I'd ordered, and they did not mention this when giving me the order, nor offer any compensation (sauces, etc.). the straw, which I didn't use, was folded in half?? see my photo. other than that, I had napkins, and a silverware packet for the topped fries, and when I went back to the counter (there was no longer a line) and asked for "some ghost pepper sauce" the cashier woman gave me four, which I've never had happen at a Wendy's before, so that was nice. they'd already gotten me the drink I put on the order, but when I went back to get a refill, the freestyle machine was out of all of the "zero sugar" options, but they had a machine for drive through orders, that seemed to be more...
Read moreI have been ordering the same order for almost 2 months for me and my husband. On 9 AUG 24 Female older manager & staff gave my husband old stale fries and nuggets, wrong/no drink, wrong size (wanted the large supersized), cold shrink up pretty nasty taste fries, no ketchup, napkins, wrong sauce cold bag. I sent him back & they gave back/served him the same old stale food you shouldn’t have sitting there for so long !! You didn’t have a line of cars in the drive-thru and the right thing to do was to recook the food fresh, especially since my husband had to make a second trip because the food was old and stale. Even if the workers were new, the shift manager on duty should have instructed them to recook the food to ensure that it was hot. This had to be the most horribly prepared food I’ve ever had from this restaurant. To waste gas and you only repeated the same process with the same old food is unacceptable. I went back the following day 10 AUG 24 & the young manager start discussing about prices when I only came for my refund. On top of that she didn’t know what she was talking about when it came to the menu, which is terrible for a manager who preferred to engage in a no good and incorrect reason to discuss & act like she want to embarrass me when I was talking to her now and in a respectful manner so no one could even hear other than her. Her attitude was so bad she did not even offer to cook the meal after I gave her store credit in my explanation that they usually serve hot fresh food, except the nuggets. Maybe it is time to just leave Wendy’s alone. I just got transfer from work to the DC area and looking for a place to live, & if I am going to eat and pay for unhealthy food it needs it needs to be what I paid for without coming back twice or drama or not extremely substandard & bad attitude coming from the managers & workers. I can see why the 1 star reviews are double or triple the 5 stars. All you need to do is served what the customer is paying for and treat people with the professional dignity & respect...
Read moreI was very excited when this location opened because we have a bit of a Wendy's desert in the area. They are very spread out. The only real issue with this location is the time to service. Every single time I go the drive through is backed up like crazy and it takes them seemingly 5 minutes per vehicle. I don't know what is going on but today it was taking so long I drove 10 minutes out of my way to go to the other Wendy's further down the road. The wait reasonable there. I can't recommend this location until they get their stuff together for the drive through. This is NOT fast food. You'd be lucky to get through the drive through in under 30 minutes which is a bit ridiculous.
I had to come back and update this review in March of 2024. The location has improved quite a bit. It is not as slow as it was. It is super awkward when you order on the drive thru though because they have someone greet you and ask if you want to try XYZ then when you say no another employee starts taking your order. They are about average speed now and mostly seem to know the menu. I did order the "Asiago Ranch Chicken Club Combo" for my roommate, and one newer associate the what now... I was like um the number blah, and literally said oooohhhhhh ok gotcha. I also ordered a "Big Bacon Classic® Combo" and asked for no cheese. Somehow they interpreted that as no bun. This only happened once but it was a hilarious experience. Mostly this location is OK now and decent. It is very nice on the inside since it's still pretty new. That said the day Wendy's announced their ideas for surge pricing I decided they'd be loosing...
